This property is on a quiet street with good grocery stores just a few minutes away by car. The house was very clean and large enough for our family. Big kitchen and lots of space for dining together. The owners were quick to respond and left a book with lots of information including restaurants, parks, shops and more.
The house is in a quiet neighborhood. It was clean and spacious. Only thing could be improved is comfortable seating for 6 or more in the living room. There is a couch and chair, so only seats 4. We had 6 adults. A loveseat or set of recliners would be a great addition. An area rug would have allowed to sit/lay on the floor also. Otherwise, it met our needs.
the only comfortable bed was the master king size. all other beds were twin size and not comfortable.
the 4th "bedroom" is actually the basement, which lacks a closet or more importantly, a bathroom. the unlucky person there has to climb stairs and cross the house to use the main floor bath, and since the house has wood floors, all footsteps can be heard everywhere.
Over all our stay was great. The house is located in a great neighborhood and the grocery store down the street is amazing.
The automated system the managers use to send check in information was working correctly. We reached out to them via VRBO and promptly received the information.
Two other things keep me from giving a five star review:
- While the property is air conditioned, the supply to the second floor is insufficient to keep the two upstairs bedrooms cool during the summer. On sunny days they were about 10 degrees warmer than the ground floor. This is a because of how the house was constructed to allow for a chimney effect before air conditioning.
- The photos make the property look more accessible than it is. Once someone that is mobility limited is in the house, they are set on the main floor. However the front and side doors are not practical for them to use.
