My family enjoyed our stay in Euclid. This home is just minutes from downtown Cleveland where there is a lot to do plus this home is situated right on Lake Erie. The cottage is super cute and even had room for all 8 of us plus our dogs. The air conditioning kept the cottage nice and cool in the massive heat wave we had. The private drive neighbors were very quiet, however, the home is located in an area surrounded by large apartment complexes and a strong police presence. We never felt unsafe; however, it is good to realize that is is not always a quiet getaway. The cottage is super cute and clean overall but can use a little TLC. The beds, blankets, and pillows were fine but basic. The outdoor seating, grill, and firepit had seen better days. We enjoyed sitting at the top of the bluff in the backyard overlooking Lake Erie and watching the waves while drinking coffee. We saw a family of racoons, several blue heron, and even a bald eagle! There was ample parking. Just note that the parking is not right at the home so guests with mobility issues should be aware. There is a gravel drive followed by an older stone path prior to the entry.
We had a good time. The owner was very accommodating . The house is older and kind of "tired". Too many throw rugs that we kept tripping on and the rugs needed cleaned.
It was a wonderful stay especially with Lake Erie pretty much in our backyard. House was clean and updated. The owner Jenna was the best in communicating no matter the need she is wonderful. I plan to stay here again in the future.
We loved this cottage looking right over Lake Erie. It was clean and in a tucked away lane off the main road. The owner was very kind, accomodating, and easy to communicate with.
Great place to unwind. Views of the lake from the enclosed porch were so soothing. 1st floor bedroom perfect for my elderly father. Host is right next door and easy to reach if you need assistance.
Love the older house feel . The view was amazing ,and the sound of the waves were very relaxing . The host was a pleasure to deal with and communicated well . Would definitely stay again
Well before our arrival our hostess reached out to ask for any special requests. She fulfilled all of them and more. The house itself was spectacular and right on the lake and with her right next door we knew anything we needed would be taken care of. She did not visit us during our trip but made it clear that she was available 24/7 and made us feel like we were old friends and that we had come home. This was by far the best VRBO or really travel experience of any kind that we have ever had. Run don't walk to reserve a spot at one of her houses on the beautiful lake right now.
We enjoyed the weekend at the home. We were in town for a family wedding. The lake was beautiful to see with snow and ice. The property was well taken care of and the walkway was clear and salted during our icy cold weekend. We appreciated the communication, cleanliness, and plenty of space for the family.
This little house on the lake was a perfect location for us to manage treatment and healing at the Cleveland Clinic. The house contains all necessary amenities in a casual, comfortable setting. If youâre looking for luxury, this may not suit your needs but if you want to kick back and watch the waves roll in at a tucked away gem close to the city, youâve found the right place!
Very relaxing watching the waves crashing on the shore and listening to it all night. Really enjoyed the view. Unlike many rentals, this had everything we needed to cook a meal as well, not just a few items. We will be back.
The view of the lake, the sunsets, the birds, all the comforts you need, and convenience to Cleveland made our stay wonderful. We thoroughly relaxed and recharged.
Nicely located, beautiful and serene lakefront cottage
This lake front cottage was beautiful, very clean and freshly painted. We enjoyed watching the waves and boats on Lake Erie, and wonderful sunsets. Jenna, the owner, was exceptionally hospitable and welcoming. The cottage is located in a quieter region of the Cleveland metro area, within a short drive of attractions like downtown Cleveland, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Cleveland Art and Natural History Museums and the Cleveland Botanical Gardens. It was nice to return to the quiet of the lakefront cottage every evening. We enjoyed our stay to hope to return someday.
