Just a place for the night

I have never stayed in any hotel where rooms would not be cleaned. The ironing board placed in the room was rickety. The carpets would certainly give infection if you walk barefooted. The surroundings were unkept.

Free breakfast consists of Cheerios or Froot Loops. Juice machine broken. Was assigned a non smoking room but it reeked of smoke. Half of my window curtain (room 134) was missing, so the best I could do was to have a 6” gap on both sides of the window. Bathtub faucet knob fell off. 4:30 am domestic violence disturbance in the room above me. Never again.

Never stay at the Days Inn in Amherst Ohio

The first room was supposed to be a non-smoking room, but you could tell somebody had been smoking heavily in it and the tub was filling with water. It had a drip, and the plug wouldn’t stay open then they showed us a second room and there was nothing to wipe up the snow and salt from our shoes and it felt dirty then he was gonna show me a third room and I said no we’re not staying here. He then wanted to charge me a $30 fee. We hadn’t even really checked in. It should be rated one if that. He also told me it would take 5 to 7 days for them to reimburse what he had taken off my credit card so I am going to be checking on that and making sure that it was credited back with no fees.

Very rundown property. Bed had a sheet and a "wafer-thin" blanket--with no additional blankets in the room. There were also 3 small pillows for a king-sized bed. There was an ice bucket but not a single plastic cup from which to drink. Basic amenities were definitely lacking
