Beautiful place to stay. House was perfect to stay in. Got an earlier flight and the owner worked with me for a longer stay. Will definitely stay here again!!!
The family and I had an amazing stay here. Close to both Cleveland and Helen yet you feel as though you are truly "out there" when staying here. The cabin is very comfortable with everything one would need. We enjoyed the property and the fire pits were a great way to end each day. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a fun and relaxing getaway!
The cottage was clean and well maintained. We enjoyed the reclining chairs and the comfy beds! The woodland animal decor was cute and the firepits looked nice (it was raining when we were there). We really enjoyed our stay and felt very at home!
Upon pulling onto the property we knew we had made a great choice. We loved the manicured fire pit with the outdoor lighting. The inside of the house was super clean and decorated so charmingly. We spent the evenings by the fire and during the day, we made the short drive to Yonah Mtn. for the 4.8 mile hike and finished the day off at NO FO Brewing.
Nothing to say, but excellent place and would highly recommend! Everything was clean and perfect. Short drive to Helen for Oktoberfest, but far away from the crowd, which was what we wanted.
My family stayed at Owl's Hideaway for a short vacation and to visit family that lives in the area. This cute cottage home had an amazing feel the moment we walked in. For two women and two children we felt safe the entire time we were there, and the home was very clean. There were enough dishes as well as pots and pans for us to be able to cook dinner and invite our 79 year old aunt over to join. This cottage provided my family the space and means to have that much needed visit. We also visited Helen, Anna Ruby Falls, and Cabbage Patch Land (these are all childhood memories of mine as I have been visiting Cleveland all of my life). I would strongly recommend visiting the Sautee Nacooche Cultural Arts Center that is nearby as well. My family went to the Sautee Nacooche pottery festival, and we were able to learn a lot of history about such a special town.
The house was very clean and fit the bill for what we needed. My daughter is at North Georgia Tech which is only about 10 miles away. We wanted a plane to stay for the weekend so we could spend some time with her. Everything worked as it should and was just what we needed.
We could not have asked for a sweeter, more quaint little hideaway than the Owl. . . We loved everything about it. The two fire pits were amazing (although we only use one). We prepared early Christmas dinner there on Sunday for our grown son, his wife, our granddaughter and her two little boys. Everyone just loved the quiet little place. We travel up that way about 3 time a year and hope to be able to stay there again sometime. It is a little expensive for us (we live on a fixed income). . .but will try to do this again sometime next year! It was clean and welcoming and even had a little Christmas tree lite for our pleasure. Adorable!!!
The house was very clean and accurate to the listing. The fire pit was great to use, and it had convenient access to the main roads. The host was very kind and willing to work with me for an early check in!
Wow! What a perfect little place. 2 fire pits on site make it a great little spot for night time activities. We went here for Oktoberfest in Helen. This quaint little cottage was the perfect spot to come back too at the end of the day. Very nice furnishings, linen and housewares. We will be visiting this house again.
This little cottage was perfect! It's got everything you need. It was comfortable & peaceful. The location is great because your out a little bit but close to so many adventures. The host was excellent. We will definitely be staying here again.
