We had a nice stay here for 2 nights. It is a very cute, antique filled cottage, Fully stocked kitchen. Beds are comfortable. Shower is hot but does feel like it is going to beat you death. Plenty of towels. Clean overall - floors/baseboards could use a better clean/removal of cobwebs.
This property was perfect for our trip. The kitchen had everything needed. The house was clean and nicely decorated. The neighborhood was safe and quiet. My one word of advice is the driveway is a little odd so you need to be aware; it almost sneaks up on you but thatâs the only issue.
This is a really sweet old house in a great location, close to the middle of Cuyahoga Valley National Park. As a bonus, the Kirby Preserve is close by and is an interesting place for day hikes. The house was quiet, clean and had everything we needed. Very gracious host.
Two high school friends attending a reunion. Place was cute and cozy. However, it was not cleaned well. The upstairs was neglected. Dead bugs were on floor and it hadnât been vacuumed. The stairs were also dirty. Location was perfect for what we needed.
It's charmingand a great place to relax. Perfect location, close to many outdoors activities. Cuyahoga National Park is just minutes away. We enjoyed mostly the relaxation of the screen-in porch. Great experience.
A nice, comfy old house. It had good water pressure, water heat and excellent AC. The furniture, dishes, lamps, etc appear to have been carefully chosen for the house. Everything was great. Very glad we stayed here and would stay again if in the area.
A wonderful historic home beautifully renovated with the touches to make 21st century folks very happy. We were very happy staying and the location was convenient to our visit to Cuyahoga park.
The charm of this property canât be beat! When we first walked in, I was captivated. We spent time on the screened in porch and used our bird app to identify the many birds in the neighborhood. As we settled in for the evening, certain things became noticeable. Something in the house triggered my asthma/allergies. Iâm not sure but I feel like it might have been the couch??? While sitting on the couch, I turned my head to look in the main bedroom and noticed dust bunnies under the bed. While in the bathroom on the main floor, I happened to touch my fingers to the sink top and noticed it had a film that I was able to rub off. Additionally, when I was getting ready for the day, a small spider came down on a web from the ceiling. I wanted to soak in a warm tub after a long day of hiking, but there was no drain stopper. When we were eating breakfast, I happened to notice cobwebs on top of the lampshade on the table. The outdoor area is much better depicted in its pictures than in reality. Itâs a bit rundown. There was a thistle close to a foot tall I almost ran into just outside the front screen door. It was these little things that began to chip away at the overall charm of the house. I understand to expect some rough edges since itâs such an old house, but basic cleanliness shouldnât be one of those things. The mattress and pillows on the queen bed are better than mine at home! I got the best sleep Iâve had in a while! :-) There were also enough dishes and utensils.
The cottage was great, nicely furnished, with comfortable beds, and conveniently located for hiking. An antique mall and a great garden center were 15 - 20 min. drives. The reason that I gave it less than 5 stars was that the coffee maker stopped working after day 2 of our 4 day stay. We left 2 messages for the property manager and got no reply. The kitchen could also use some better cookware.
Loved this historic house, and the location was perfect for visiting Cuyahoga Vall NP. Check-in was painless and comm w/ owners was smooth and timely. Unfortunately there were whiskers left on the bathroom sink and the sink wouldn't drain. The carp
Good location, some charming decor, kitchen had a good amount of cookware. No sugar, no soap/body wash or conditioner in the shower. Mouse droppings in the pots and pans was the biggest concern.
Great location to local stores & hiking. However, when 1st stepping into the home, a strong cigarette smell hits you. It was late & dark out so we stayed. This home was very hard to warm up, & an animal could be heard chewing behind the walls in the main bedroom. The place felt unclean, & a feeling as someone was living there. There was expired food & milk in the frig. We left 1st thing the next morning. Very disappointed with communication & our overall experience.
Location was perfect for a visit to Cuyahoga National Park, easy access to many sites. House was cozy and had lots of character and cute details. Easy check in. Only issue was that the upstairs hadnât been cleaned when we arrived (bed not made, trash not removed). There was also no coffee or conditioner - both of which would have been nice to have
The house was clean, beautifully decorated, & located in a good neighborhood. The property owner responded promptly to all communications & provided necessary info in a timely manner. All in all, we enjoyed our stay there & highly recommend it to anyone looking to stay in Richfield, Ohio.
Easy check-in. Very cute and comfortable home with amenities we used such as Keurig and full size fridge. Perfect location for our needs (near family). Would stay again!
