Stayed at The Orbit this last weekend for the Cleveland Boat Show. GREAT hotel - room was nice size, had all the expected amenities, etc. The ultra modern decor was a bit weird at first, as you normally don't see hotels furnished like this. Staff was excellent as well. Only ONE thing turned me off, and it was that I just could NOT get warm in my room. Now, this is subjective, obviously as everybody's comfort level is different. And it was cold outside too, at 17. There were 2 heat/ac units in the room, but it seemed that they couldn't keep up. I was uncomfortable at 72 degrees. Wouldn't be a deal breaker for me to stay again however. And one other thing, your nav system might tell you to turn right on "Underpass Road". It doesn't exist. Just turn in at the light in front of the Centaur Apartment complex, go left, and you're in. All in all, a great place.

The Orbit is a very basic hotel. It is clean and includes a pretty nice breakfast. For some reason we did not receive cleaning service for 3 days. When we inquired we were told cleaning is every other day not daily. So we asked for garbage bags so we could at least put out the garbage. It was difficult to get an additional decaf coffee pod upon request, however, the young lady at the desk did come through. She seemed inclined to want to help us with our requests despite the lack of staff to support her willingness. Additionally one of us in the party waited over an hour for the shuttle bus to the hotel, I waited 30 minutes, only 1 in the group arrived within the advertised 15 minutes. It is an adequate place, just don’t expect much in the way of extras. The toilet had some flushing issues and we were told it is just an old building.

Staff on late arrival (young woman) was so helpful and welcoming! Everything was very clean and efficient. We love the NASA homage. The evening and morning shuttle drivers were also so helpful and friendly. (The older morning service woman at 5 am was a bit salty.)

There was only 1 mirror in the room which was the bathroom mirror. Parking was limited. The staff was amazing however even with a snow storm happening. The room was extremely clean and comfortable.
