Family Time

This place is instant cozy feel the minute you open the door. We were close to family in the area and everything we wanted to do. We were able to unwind easily every afternoon with the space being perfect for the 3 of us. Mike and Ashley were the perfect hosts in their communication with us and the place has many personal touches to feel like home away from home.

Short visit

My wife and I decided to drive around East Tennessee to visit where she went to college (UTC) and visit some friends. This VRBO was perfect for us. Close to grocery stores and restaurants, since we like to cook for ourselves and frankly we had stayed at a few hotels the nights before and were ready for a place to have a home base. The kitchen was nicely stocked with items to prep meals. We saw there were some snacks advertised and when we booked, did not expect to use them. I'm glad they were there because it was nice to have a granola bar for a snack, coffee to relax, and some popcorn to watch a show. We brought a laptop and wifi was quick and easy to connect to so we could plan our routes for the days. The hosts checked in to make sure we were settled and just once over a few days..it felt like the right amount since we are normally self sufficient, and have been landlords in the past so tread lightly on rentals. Oh, and the water pressure was nice in the shower which was a nice bonus. Thank you to our hosts and we would stay there again if we return to the area.

It was perfect for our stay!! Had everything we needed and the host always emailed us to see if we needed anything. The Bottle of wine was a nice touch and they had coffe and cold juices and drinks. We really enjoyed our stay.

Pleasant cottage feel.

The unit was pleasantly quiet and clean. All necessities were provided, including drinks, snacks, coffee, tea and makeup removing pads. We slept peacefully. We were in an out of the apartment several times each day because of the events we were attending. My recommendation would be to spend a little effort to make the entrance, sidewalk, stairs and walk way a little safer. Some extra landscaping around the entrance and walkway would go a long way with the welcoming of guests. Possibly consider a new couch and some fresh area rugs. That would have made the stay even more comfortable. I would recommend this to a friend, with those suggested improvements. Thank you for your hospitality!

First liked the one room ideal. Like the curtain ideal around the king size bed. Liked the lights that they had in the suit. These are my dislikes Found a hair in the bed thank God I brought my own sheets There was dust on the lampshades which was metal so I had to dust them even the one that's by the leather chair! The clock that was beside the king size bed had dust on it and inside the back of it! So after that I start looking at the baseboards which are white and you can't miss that there was dust like they never got clean like for a couple months I do not know why people said it was cleanliness because I had to buy cleaner like I said and had to clean around the nightstand baseboards found out that there was dead bugs did a spider. As for safety they do not have no rails as you go down those three steps which like they need to be redone and put a rail up as for the bathroom I did tell the host through a email my concerns about the bathroom also the bathroom you have to step up and there's nothing to help you get up into and out of the shower there should be a safety bar . Read the reviews from vrbo. There was no communication from the host that lives on the property I did not make a complaint because we were staying there for 3 days and I already did my cleaning for them! I emailed the host the morning that we left after we get almost out of the state of Tennessee because I did not know that she had left me a email stating don't strip the bed don't put the dishes

The perfect getaway!

My daughter and I stayed at this property while she was recovering from knee surgery. It was lovely! We enjoyed our privacy and even sat outside on our private deck overlooking a neighbor’s beautiful garden. It was very comfortable and clean. It was just perfect for us!

Perfect Accommodations

This accommodation is absolutely perfect! The room are well appointed with everything you would need from an iron and ironing board to q-tips in the bathroom and even snacks and goodies in the fridge! The sofa and chairs were so comfy and the bed was divinely soft! Mike and Ashley were attentive and checked on us several times, including giving us recommendations for local restaurants that did not disappoint!
