The house was amazing. It was very beautiful, and the host was welcoming. We had such a great stay here. The kids had fun with plenty of activities, and the scenery was just so beautiful. The fence was perfect for our dogs, and we would just highly recommend this house for anyone looking for a mountain getaway.
The cabin was very clean and comfortable. The fireplace takes a minute to get started but once you figure it out (with help from the directions on the wall) itâs easy and warms the main area of the cabin. Make sure you take a side trip to Pistachio Land and White Sands.
This is THE BEST Vrbo Iâve ever stayed at! The cabin was beautiful, full of amenities, and you canât beat having the full forest (with a trail!) right in the backyard. Check-in was super easy and the property manager/owner was quick to respond. Omg, and the bedding and towels were all so fluffy and warm. I would definitely book again!
Great location, great cabin, awesome host. We loved our stay at the cabin in Cloudcroft! The place was well equipped and very welcoming. The host was extremely responsive and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay.
The house was perfect and fulfilled all of our needs. Important for us was also that it was super clean. The host was very responsible and easy-going, super friendly. Our time here was just perfect. We will be back.
Ianâs property was a perfect place to stay in Cloudcroft. We come here every year or so and this is by far our favorite location and favorite property that weâve stayed in. The first thing that set it apart from other properties was the cleanliness- everything was spic and span for our arrival. We love the location as it backed up to the national forest and we had a hiking trail right out our backyard. We could hike to the Pines Campground area or go towards the OSHA Trail. There was also a very professional disc golf course within walking distance through the forest. At the beginning of the trip, it was just my husband and I and then our grown sons, granddog, and one wife joined us. The house was large enough for the five of us. The kitchen in particular was set up in a great way that there could be many of us cooking and not getting each otherâs way. The master bedroom was perfect- comfy king bed. The 2 other bedrooms were small- one had a queen bed and the other bunk beds (not great for adults). Our granddog immediately loved the house and was super chill and relaxed the whole time. We used the baby gate across the front steps and he was able to go out on the front porch and hang out. Because he is a big dog, we could not let him out in the backyard as the fence is very low. He wouldâve chased the many deer and elk that we saw.Only a few recommendations--Bring your own food storage containers-replaced several lightbulbs -more eatting utensils needed
Great location close to town and the trail behind the home is great. Loved sitting on the porch and watching wildlife. A treat to see wild horses and deer so close up. Would stay here again.
This is our 3rd summer to stay at this location. It is our favorite. Itâs one story, minimal front steps, large kitchen, dining room and living room. Itâs great for gathering everyone together. The large front porch has an awesome view and the back porch overlooks the national forest. We saw 6 wild horses that came through several times. Itâs well stocked with anything that you might need.
This property is a complete do-over. The living area is spacious, with vaulted ceilings. The kitchen is well stocked with everything we needed including a regular coffee pot and a Keurig coffee pot. Nice touch! We spent a lot of time on the front porch -- a very large area with comfortable seating and a table for playing games. We saw many deer from there and from the dining room table. One bedroom has bunk beds to this is not good for 3 couples but would be perfect for children. Lots of games and crayons and puzzles for the kids. Overall this is an excellent place to stay. We highly recommend it and will be back..
This cabin is absolutely beautiful! It felt like home away from home. Nice quiet neighborhood. We loved our stay! Sitting on the porch was my favorite place to be.
Our three night stay went well! We were a little deceived by the pictures, thinking this cabin was secluded. Itâs in a neighborhood and the next door neighbors had 4 or 5 dogs that barked the entire time we were in the backyard. The fence is very short, but fortunately our two bigger dogs didnât seem to mind. The neighborhood was otherwise very quiet! The kitchen is VERY well stocked with just about anything you need to cook a nice meal. The cabin was fairly clean, but the carpet in the living room should be shampooed as it has many stains. We contacted the host during check-in and check-out but they took a couple days to respond, maybe due to it being the weekend. We would enjoy staying here again if we ever visit this area again!
