Perfect lodge for a couple and a small dog, we had plenty of space during our stay.

Perfect lodge for a couple and a small dog, we had plenty of space during our stay. This lodge would perhaps be a little on the smaller side for a family, it’s more suited to those with younger kids. The lodge had everything we needed. The only negative, but not a massive issue for us, the TV in the living didn’t work, although the main bedroom had a TV that worked fine.

A little smaller than the more expensive Wainwright we have stayed in previously but of a similar good standard. The lodge we stayed in had a problem with the lock on the sliding patio doors, it was stuck in the locked position, but was fixed quickly by a helpful maintenance man, with one quick phone call.

Had a lovely time, very quiet even through the site was full, check in took 10 mins, no issues with the accommodation apart from TV lost internet connection a few times each night, but no big problem. The site is very clean and neat with a view to supporting nature, you can walk round and only see the odd person. We will return in the future. The staff we spoke to were very friendly and helpful. The only down side was the rabbits and sheep kept wanting to torment Maggie the dog by walking past the accommodation so she had to get up to see what they were doing.

The lodge was the perfect size for me and my husband plus our dog.

The lodge was the perfect size for me and my husband plus our dog. Very clean and had everything in it that you needed. Had to put 2 chairs on the decking to act as a gate but that wasn't a problem.

Accommodation was As we have come to expect very clean and all ready for us very cold weather but we were nice and warm decking was a problem with no effort having been made to clear any of the snow and ultralight not working this was reported and maintenance person sorted the light and kindly cleared a walk way through the snow to the car which was appreciated as I'm partially disabled

We have stayed at Keswick Reach several times over the years and love the location and views.

We have stayed at Keswick Reach several times over the years and love the location and views. However our last stay was in a lodge which was showing it's age. The oven had to be repaired as it kept switching itself off. Shower hose was loose & the shower head kept coming off the holder, no plug in bath. The radiator in the main bedroom didn't work and there was a large stain under the radiator where there had been a leak. Having said that we would still stay again as our previous visits have been trouble free.

A lovely place to stay and a great location for getting around the lakes. The en-suite shower had no power but the one in the bathroom was totally fine so we just used that. The single beds in the second room are very small and wobbly but ok for smaller kids probably. The storage is great. Kitchen very well equipped and the lounge area was lovely with the huge floor to ceiling windows. Our TV didn’t work on the first night but someone came out within minutes of calling and fixed it which was brilliant service. Food at the pub was delicious. Staff there were lovely, as were those at reception/shop. The dog shower was a HUGE bonus, especially as the weather was the Lake District at its finest - WET! Would happily go back and recommend to others!
