The room was in disrepair and was filthy and smelled bad. The sheets on the bed were paper thin and the box spring was so gross we were afraid to lay down on the bed. There was a beetle in the bathroom and the shower had barely any pressure and only lukewarm water. If we hadn't arrived so late at night and every other room nearby wasn't already booked, we would have left immediately.

If only I could give this negative stars! Beware if you are just looking for a place to lay your head the night before a cruise. I expected a modest hotel but some reviewers said it was clean so I went for it. Bad idea! Dead bugs on sheets. Stains on sheets. Rusty old bathroom. I was afraid to sit on couch! Beyond stained. And the smell in the room. It was bad… I’ve never left a hotel before. We tried to check out 15 minutes after we arrived and went to check-in desk. No one was there. No one came for 20 minutes. We just left out keycards and left. I called hotels.com immediately after we left to see if I could get a refund. They said they had to call cocoa beach suites and get to the bottom of it. After they finally got ahold of the manager( shocker no one was picking up the phone) The manager lied and said they offered us another room. There was no one at the desk to offer us another room! And they denied our refund. What a terrible way to do business. Avoid this hotel!

Large room and convenient to shopping and dining. The only downside we had was no coffee in the lobby but there was a Waffle House next door.

Not the fault of the staff, but when we arrived the power to only this hotel was out so they couldn't check anyone in. Had to come back an hour and a half later. Showers never had hot water. Some sketchy looking guests. And i saw 1 roach in the bathroom. On a positive, beds were comfy.

The room was clean but the coffee was not a beverage to wake up to ! No pool or hottub on site like advertised , we had to walk two long blocks to the sister Hotel and then walk back with wet bathing suites ! NOT , The staff was good in the morning and helpful hints . The hotel was within walking distance of good food choices and parking was good .

Upon check in the lady behind the counter was rude and not very helpful. The hotel was run down and our room needed some definite updates. The clothing rack fell off when I hung up a jacket. The carpet had some stains and the room didn’t smell good. We purchased some room spray and it helped. It was only for one night so we made it work. We would not stay here again.
