A place for rest and relaxation

We enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving trip. We enjoyed the view from the home. Just as beautiful at night as it is in the day, We only used two bedrooms and they were wonderful.we stayed one week and loved all the wildlife. Deers are right outside the house. Watched bald eagles .You could see fireworks and Christmas lights every night from your couch and enjoy the fireplaces. The fireworks were not anything you could hear just see.It is part of the resort boat ride to see Santa on the other side of the lake. For thanksgiving we highly recommend Beverley’s at the resort. The food was outstanding along with the view.

We love the proximity to town, rode our bikes several times to resturants, beds were uncomfortable and the house faces west with the blinding setting sun and with a bit of effort this could be totally avoided with a shade sail or. umbrellas A little shade

Fam reunion

Interior and exterior spaces were spacious and comfortable for our large group, the kitchen was well-stocked for food prep. The ice-maker did not work, so we bought ice; ice cube trays could be helpful. We had older family members who didn’t love the stairs between floors and decks and down to the dock. The location is fantastic, great view and close to everything. Air conditioning on each level worked great, parking was easy at the bottom of the street, or it’s a very short walk. Water pressure was low (it’s on a hill and a well). Overall we were happy with our choice.

Great views!

We really enjoyed this house! You cannot beat the views from every angle of this house that look over the lake. Plenty of space for all of us. I had read the other reviews, so I knew what to expect before going. The biggest thing that reviewers talk about is the access to the private dock. You have to walk down the road And cross the street to get to it. But it’s really not very far at all. The hardest part is the walk back up to the house because it is a bit of an incline. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. The walk to the dock is not a big deterrent and you can always drive your car and park it along the side of the road if you prefer not to walk. Several amenities are provided for your stay as well. Detergent, trash bags, seasoning, hand soap, toilet paper, aluminum foil, and Ziploc bags. Great Homebase for exploring CDL! Super convenient location and you CANNOT beat the views! ❀

Incredible View For Christmas

The home was perfect for a snowy Christmas in CDA! They had a tree set up! We had a problem with the heat but the property manager was quick to respond and they took care of it asap. Location was great, views amazing! Perfect for 6 of us. Thank you!

Lovely 70th birthday stay

We rented Almost Heaven for my mother’s 70th Birthday weekend and it was every bit as heavenly as the photos, if not more! The home was well appointed in a quiet neighborhood with beautiful views from both the upstairs and downstairs. The house was very clean, kitchen had everything we needed and the hot tub was a welcomed amenity after we rode the Hiawatha bike trail. We loved visiting DT CDA - especially the new Bottle Joy beer and wine spot and the Stylus wine and vinyl bar. Make sure to carve out time for dinner at the Wolf Lodge Inn! We did have trouble locking the downstairs slider at the home, but were assured that it would be addressed quickly when we let the rental company know upon check out. Would absolutely rent again!

Spectacular Views

Unbelievable views of the lake from this home! We Had a problem with the vinyl flooring leaving black on everyone’s feet and hands(infant crawlers) no matter how hard we re-cleaned the floor(no mop or cleaning supplies available) Also would be nice if the description and photos of the boat dock accessiblity from the house were clearer as In actuality it’s a cliff and not accessible at ALL. We “worked out” several times a day going down the steep road” with our 4 small grandkids to use our boat and fish. Just wasn’t as convenient as hoped! Communication with the management was great!

Great Family Vacay

The views are excellent. Access to the private dock is a 5 minute walk down the road and across a small highway. We enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the sunset over the lake, which was also nice to drink our morning coffee on. We saw a few deer walk through the yard which was very cool. We enjoyed walking and biking on the Centennial Trail which runs down by the water. The drive to downtown took less than 10mins. We would recommend this property. It fit our family of 5 nicely.

House was nice, met all our needs but was compact. Had to walk or drive to the pier. But it was a nice place to hang out and swim, the water was very nice, deep and clear. Rented a pontoon boat and tied up to the pier. Deck and hot tub at the house was great.

Absolutely Amazing!

Done many rentals homes over the years, this was hands down the BEST! The location, the neighborhood, the views, the views, the views
.we can’t stop talking about it. House is very clean and modern. Plenty of heating options (space heater, split units, fire place, stove) we were comfortable the entire time. You can stay in and cook a full dinner or just come back from drinks and relax in the hot tub. Plenty of privacy too, family of four, kids had the downstairs and we had the upstairs at night. Waking up and seeing the view of Lake Coeur D’Alene for five mornings was amazing. It basically felt like home for five days with all the necessities and then some available.
