Room - sound of a very loud and constant dripping when it rained coming from water dripping from the covered balcony above ours onto ours as well as water without the room (hard to fix, but did cause sleepless nights) - Pillows were either really hard or extremely lumpy with all the fiber broken up - making sleep uncomfortable. - Mattress was also extremely hard We did not sleep soundly. Lifts and accessibility - the lifts were out of use several times during our stay - Stairs were hard to locate with no clear signage, we along with other guests went in search and then had to find a member of staff where they were - we couldn't find the accessible entrance to the hotel. instead only a steep flight of stairs we had to ascend and descend. Anyone with an accessibility need, pram or heavy suitcase struggled here. Breakfast was nice though and location of hotel good.

Upon arrival we didn't receive a friendly welcome from the lady behind the desk however the location and the cleanliness was impressive. The biggest issue that I reported yet was not dealt with was the horrendous noise coming from the drainage keeping us awake on both nights. The other issues were the lumpy pillows and the fact that room service insist on walking in the rooms when we hadn't even checked out, why don't they check if the room has checked out before doing so.. The hotel looks well but if you can't sleep at night due to the noise then what's the point in sleeping there, very frustrating that's this was reported to the hotel and Hotels.com yet nothing done.

Had a lovely stay everything was nice walkable distance to shops. Room was stuffy at times and air con took a while to cool me down as it was quite sunny weather conditions. Bed was huge was expecting a single but it was king sized so that was ok. TV had BBC and itv channels so I could even watch Match of the Day! Stay was good only minor detractors and these are extremely minor I may add were the lack of coffee in room and reception. Although when asked I was allowed to use the breakfast coffee machine which was lovely. Also when cleaners came round I was in an out all day and they only got to my room when I got back did give me some coffee though so that was a bonus. There was also so small bleachy staining to corridor carpet. This is being extremely nit picky had a lovely stay easy to check in after a stressful journey just wanted to eat in the hotel restaurant but it was not available that would have made my night a lot less challenging as my daughter was upset at having to go out for food on top of all the stresses of a first foreign visit and flight.

I recently stayed at this hotel in Cologne and I'd recommend it. It was walkable from Cologne Central Station. The room was lovely with a large shower. YouTube was available on the TV. I loved the art in the room, especially the mural on the shower. Overall, great stay in Cologne. I'd stay here again.

I liked the location of the hotel. Most attractions can be reached on foot from the hotel. It’s right on the Rhine too, which was lovely to look out onto every day. Breakfast and the service was excellent. Great choice of continental or cooked breakfasts. Staff on reception were always friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

It is in a good location next to the river, which is ideal with the roof top terrace. Only about 25 minute stroll from the train station. Rooms were big and airy.
