La cabine dispose d'une cuisine gastronomique (comptoirs en pierre ollaire / évier de ferme, plaque de cuisson à induction), de larges planchers en chêne et d'art / boiseries / sculpture en métal / vitrail d'artisans locaux. Rénovations terminées en 2016, avec tous les nouveaux appareils (y compris l'unité combinée laveuse / sécheuse) et les nouveaux meubles. Foyer au gaz et éclairage antique. WiFi gratuit, télévision par câble avec beaucoup de chaînes, DVR et Netflix. Quatre couchages: lit king et lumière du ciel pour regarder les étoiles en maître, deux lits jumeaux xl qui peuvent être convertis en roi dans le 2ème BR. Profitez de la vue fabuleuse et du jardin depuis la terrasse ombragée de pins ou le patio couvert intime à l'arrière.

Un artisan local, Dale White, a fait une transformation étonnante, en utilisant du pin tueux du scarabée (tache bleue) sur les plafonds et les encastrés. La maison ne fait que 750 pieds carrés, mais elle semble beaucoup plus grande avec les plafonds voûtés, le plan d'étage ouvert et les différents encastrés. Les armoires sont en chêne scié sur quartier et la base de la table de cuisine provient d'une ancienne chaudière. Le meuble-lavabo de la salle de bain est fait de pin bristlecone antique, avec un lavabo / comptoir en pierre ollaire. J'ai l'impression que la cabine elle-même est un art et j'adore y être. J'espère que vous aussi.

La cabine est à quelques pâtés de maisons des sentiers de randonnée, de la piscine, du lac Green Mtn Falls et des restaurants. Green Mountain Falls est une ville pittoresque et calme. Cette cabine est une base sereine pour visiter l'Air Force Academy, The Broadmoor, Pikes Peak, Manitou Springs et bien d'autres sites à proximité. La région de Pikes Peak est un endroit merveilleux pour la pêche, le vélo et la randonnée. C'est un endroit rêveur. Venez et restez!

One of my favorite vacation rentals ever!

What a wonderful place! If I could give Lisa 10 stars I would! As someone who owns a short term rental, I really appreciate the extra steps Lisa put in to make our stay wonderful! We reached out to her very last minute due to needing to find a new place to stay after our previous rental was awful and not as pictured. Lisa quickly responded and was able to accommodate our last minute request for my family and I! Upon arriving she had a delicious apple pie waiting for us! Her cabin is absolutely AMAZING and I couldn’t love it more! We appreciate all of the kind hospitality and can’t wait to go back! Thank you SO much, Lisa!

Ultimate Style, Comfort, & Hospitality

My husband and I stayed here on our honeymoon trip - Cabin in the Pines was an absolute dream. First, the cabin has been lovingly designed to strike the perfect balance between comfort and style. The furniture was very comfortable, and we loved the charm that the decor added to each room. But the true ‘wow’ factor that makes this cabin stand out is the owner’s superb hospitality. From the homemade apple pie and wine that greeted us, to the kitchen and restroom well stocked with every amenity, Lisa makes sure that you will have an enjoyable stay. Her communication is excellent and she even provides you with recommendations on dining and activities in the area. We had a spectacular experience and would visit again tomorrow if we could. I highly recommend Cabin in the Pines for your stay in the Manitou Springs/Pikes Peak area.

Awesome getaway place!

Lisa was an excellent host! She made sure our check in went smooth and the cabin was stocked with everything we needed - plus more! You’ll love the fresh baked pie and when she found out we were celebrating our 40th Anniversary she also had a bottle of wine waiting! The location is convenient to so many attractions and shopping and restaurants. You won’t be disappointed!

Fantastic home, great location, great host

We couldn't be happier with our 3 day stay. The house was beautifully finished and furnished, with far more supplies and cooking utensils than any other vacation rental we have used. The location was great for hikes out the door (in the hills around the little town of Green Mountain Falls) and also within a short distance. (We drove the 25 minutes up to Mueller State Park and enjoyed some of the 40 miles of hiking with great views of golden aspen trees and Pike's Peak). Colorado Springs is also 25 minutes down Rt 24. Finally, Lisa, the host, was perfectly gracious and welcoming... and responsive to any requests we made. The homemade apple pie was just the first of many caring touches. So, we will definitely stay there again when visiting the area.

We have rented many different homes in Green Mountain Falls and Lisa’s home is by far the best ever! It’s over the top filled with her over the top hospitality! You could not feel more at home. Peaceful, beautiful, restful. We can’t wait for the opportunity to return. The delicious apple pie that awaits upon arrival doesn’t hurt either.

Cabin in the Pines-Best stay Ever!!

The Cabin in the Pines was such a great location to celebrate an anniversary. The cabin itself is beautiful, super clean & had everything in it that we could possibly need…..but the star to this little cabin is Lisa the host-she is a dream! After getting to know Lisa-this cabin is an extension of her-she made us feel right at home the moment we stepped over the threshold-the fresh, homemade apple pie waiting for us with a note hoping we had a great anniversary….She left very good details on local places to eat & sights to see. We will definitely return to Lisa’s cabin! By far - this was the best VRBO experience we have ever had.

Fresh Baked Fun!

Our stay at the Cabin in the Pines was absolutely FANTASTIC! My son and I flew into Colorado Springs for an unplanned, long weekend getaway, and Lisa was able to accommodate us at the last minute. She answered my message inquiring about her property ASAP and stayed in touch with us for the rest of our stay. The cabin is beautiful, and Lisa has thought of EVERYTHING to make your stay comfortable, fun, and stress-free. I was in the tourism and hospitality industry for many years, so I have pretty high expectations when it comes to my accommodations, and the Cabin in the Pines definitely surpassed those expectations by a mountain mile! I would love to stay here again and show it off to the rest of my family someday. My 11 year old son was in complete awe of the entire cabin and the surrounding scenery as well. We had so much fun together in C-Springs and the surrounding areas, and Lisa's cabin was a HUGE part of that fun. Thank you for everything, Lisa!

A beautiful retreat

What a beautiful retreat in the quaint town of Green Mountain Falls. The cabin was beyond amazing (one of the best Vrbo’s I’ve ever stayed in), the location could not have been better, and our host was fantastic. We loved our stay here!! Lisa is a great host, best VRBO host we've ever had by far. House is very well stocked, there wasn't anything we wanted that wasn't available. Beautiful craftsman home with every amenity

This home more than lived up to its description regarding craftsmanship and artistic details. It's well appointed with top appliances, kitchen gadgets, cookware, toiletries and other conveniences. Lisa has truly made a home for her temporary residents. She's remarkably accessible and attentive if needed, and has PERFECTED the apple pie! The cabin's location is minutes from groceries, walking trails and restaurants--so convenient. There is no central air but even with hot July days it wasn't necessary. We loved the views from the front porch, with another porch at the back of the house to enjoy. Truly a restful retreat! Thank you Lisa!!

A Wonderful Place!

Cabin in the Pines is absolutely lovely! The view from the front porch is beautiful! Every part of the cabin is thoughtfully and artfully designed to meet any needs you might have. Lisa, the host, is easy to reach and communicate with. We loved our time here and would definitely recommend it to anyone. Green Mountain Falls and this cabin provides a nice, quiet retreat that's an easy 15 to 20 minute drive from all the main attractions.

Fantastic place to stay.

This is by far the best place we have stayed. The location is beautiful and so is the cabin. It’s conveniently located near the town center and hiking trails. The host is wonderful and has a great guide book for the area. I can’t say enough good things about the cabin, lots of little joys await!

Cabin in the Pines

This was our first time staying at a VRBO and it was more than we expected. We read a lot of reviews and kept thinking this place sounded too good to be true. It ended up being better than expected. The house was exactly as pictured and Lisa had thought of everything, including some of the things we forgot. She has a welcome book full of tips and local favorites. Some of our favorite restaurants and hikes came from her book. Lisa was an exceptional host.

Perfect family getaway

This is such a special place. Honestly the best rental we have ever stayed at. It’s clean, fully stocked, and is managed by the best host. Lisa was amazing. We all adored her but my daughter just loved her. The location is great for Manitou, Colorado Springs, or just hiking or staying at the cabin. Thank you again Lisa. An absolute *dream*

Everything about The Cabin in the Pines surpassed my expectations. It was beautiful, comfortable, cozy, convenient, and completely relaxing to be in. The house itself was one thing, and then the town of Green Mountain Falls was more charming than we could have imagined. And then Lisa—she sets a new high bar for hospitality. A beautiful little cabin in the woods

Wow! First of all, Lisa is fantastic with her communication. She answers all her questions and went above and beyond even prior to our arrival. The cabin is just absolutely beautiful. Exactly what we were looking for!

My kids wanted to see mountains and this cabin was in a perfect location to see mountains right out the front door! Lisa thought of everything and was so welcoming. She truly cares for her guests and it shows by all the little touches throughout it the cabin.
