Lots of charm and a great location for visiting Colorado Springs. Check-in was simple, and the host provided timely communication both before and throughout our stay. We especially enjoyed the spacious living area with a large, comfortable couch. One detail we really appreciated was the variety of lighting options, including overhead lights, standing lamps, desk lamps, and nightlights. The home was clean upon arrival. Itâs an older house, so expect some quirks that come with the historic charm. There were a few minor inconveniences. The kitchen didnât seem quite as well stocked as described in the listing. There was no dish soap or sponge, no olive oil, and only two coffee K-cups for a five-night stay. We also didnât find kitchen towels or a broom and dustpan for quick cleanups. The grillâs propane tank was empty when we arrived, though the host did replace it during our stay. Since the grill is mentioned in the homeâs title, it might be helpful to check that ahead of time. It also would have been helpful to have extra trash bags and additional bathroom linens available. Lastly, the listing should note that the washer and dryer are located in a common area and require quarters to use.
