We spent the night to visit Pikes Peak Mountain. The owner at the reception is very smart and helpful.
The room is very old-style but clean and the king size bed is very comfortable. The motel is very well situated, a few meters for the city center where you can go out for dinner. And the night is very quiet as there is no real activity around at night.
The breakfast is a bit short. Coffee, industrial muffins and corn flakes.
All in all, the price should be be cheaper for the room old-fashioned furniture and the breakfast...
The couch in the sitting area of the room was comfortable enough I probably could have slept on it if I had wanted to. There were also plenty of pillows on the bed that were super comfortable as well.
What a pleasant surprise! The photos don't do it justice. It is right in the middle of town, so we did not take our car anywhere. We walked to everything (including the train to Pike's Peak which is $20 to park). The rooms have been updated and are super clean with comfy beds. Parking is right in front of your unit. There is no manager onsite, but they responded to us immediately when we had a concern. I would definitely stay again!
Fantastic motel near Manitou Incline. Easy walking distance to restaurants and shops. Great in-room amenities with a recently renovated feel. Super friendly staff and easy, no contact check-in!
I recommend staying anywhere else in Manitou springs. The owner is running this on a shoestring budget. I think it's a one man show there is no front desk so they make you download an app just to check in and access your room. The owner called (from an Texas phone number) 1 hour before our check in and said we need to sign the agreement before we can check in and that they had already gone home for the day at 3pm, we had never received an email though. The owner attempted to send it to my wife and myself, we tried multiple phone numbers and emails and could not get anything. The owner said they couldn't do anything for us and would not give us access to our room even when we offered to provide cash or card directly. They insisted we cancel the reservation we made and make it again directly on their website. Very stressful to show up and find out you might not have a place to stay. The owner refused to tell us the booking ID they had which apparently differed from ours. We were eventually able to get a different booking ID from calling our booking agency and this let us in. The app was horrible and difficult to use and completely non functional on the doors or for check out. We had to use the code to get in, it felt very cheap and there is no deadbolt.
The actual rooms were fine, almost no other guests, they recently renovated but clearly on a budget corners were literally cut. The shower door was upside down, instructions were left on the toilet, exposed wiring.Don't go here!
Just stayed 1 night. Comfortable stay.
Property has been recently updated.
Walking distance to all shops in manitou springs. Avoids parking traffic.
We had some issues with the lock. The lock sometimes unlocks upwards.
We will visit again.
Checking in was a pain, it was "paperless human less" just you and your laptop or phone trying to figure out how to get room number and passcode
Room looked nice like it was just remodel. location is amazing, walking distance to everything. Large section of restaurants all with great menu's and i'm gluten free food everywhere. Would definitely, stay here again.
Iâd stay here again. Location and price are great for a place to sleep before the incline. All communication was done through text. I donât know if thatâs just an offseason thing or not but it was just fine with me. Whoever answers the texts responded to my question at 8:30 pm just minutes after I asked. Nice place.
