This place is a decent stay with a bit of privacy and some mountain views, but a few inconveniences here and there add up to being disappointing. Many user experience issues could've been spotted if the owners or the company had stayed there for a weekend. If they stayed, they would've noticed that using iron bars for the ladder to the attic bedroom is painful to use barefoot. Put on your shoes if you want to go down to the bathroom at night. The window unit is not great at cooling down the place. If you want to open your window and keep the curtains down, the metal blocks at the bottom will make noise because they'll swing in the wind and hit the window frame all night. If you keep your curtains up, all the lights around the property will keep you up. The property has many windows, but many cannot be covered up. You do not have a choice as the guest to regulate the morning daylight entering the bedroom. Also there's a giant parking lot full of trailers between the property and the mountains which is not pictured. Also, the first day, we had a hard time using the shower because we could not regulate the water temp properly, not sure what caused it. And the quality difference between the top bed and the bottom bed is quite pronounced. The property manager was very helpful, but she could only do so much when the property had many inconveniences and annoyances that made the stay... just ok. Because of all these disappointments, I found the price point to be pretty high.
