Finca Ortiz CĂłmpeta by Ruralidays

A captivating vacation home nestled in the beautiful Sierra Almijara mountains, located in the CĂłmpeta region of the province of MĂĄlaga, Andalusia.

The cottage boasts a rustic style, with wood in various shapes and warm colors predominating throughout, giving it a discreet and friendly feel. Stone reigns supreme outside, blending harmoniously with flowers and vines. The cottage blends the traditional construction style of the area with modern amenities, ensuring you feel happy and comfortable.

The cottage is spread over two floors. On the first floor is the spacious and inviting living-dining room, from which the sculptural staircase leads, leading to a semicircular arch with traditional details from the area, leading to the second floor. A unique breakfast bar separates the dining room from the kitchen. This floor also houses the master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and a second bathroom with a shower. On the second floor are the other two bedrooms, each with two single beds, and a third bathroom with a shower. It is equipped with a fireplace, washing machine, satellite TV, etc.
All bedrooms and the living room have hot/cold air conditioning at a cost of €30/night.

Outside the cottage is the swimming pool, a large porch, a barbecue, and a parking area. The property is not fenced.

The road to the cottage is paved; the last 300 meters of the lane are winding and steep, typical of the mountainous area where the house is located. Competa is 4.5 km away.

It's inevitable that you'll lean out onto your terrace to enjoy the Mediterranean Sea horizon and let your gaze linger on the splendid vegetation of olive trees, almond trees, and vines. At this moment, I recommend you take a deep breath and let that scent of the countryside penetrate your senses, and you'll feel your inner voice whisper: "This is life!"

Excellent. If you like remote, private seclusion then this property is for you! Communication with owners was very good and they were extremely accommodating when our flight was delayed.

Tolle Finca, traumhafter Ausblick, schöner Außenbereich mit tollem Pool. Die Finca selbst ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Alle Zimmer haben Klimaanlage, bequeme Matratzen und ausreichend Platz. Man kann super abschalten und entspannen. Sehr schnelle Behebung von kleineren Problemen an der Finca. Die Auffahrt ist etwas speziell und nicht unbedingt etwas fĂŒr FahranfĂ€nger. Schön wĂ€re noch ein weiterer Sonnenschirm oder Sonnensegel, da es bei 6 Liegen und 1 Sonnenschirm recht knapp wird. Leider ist keinen Grundausstattung, Salz, Pfeffer oder Öl vorhanden, also gleich beim 1. Einkauf mitbringen. Kommen sehr gerne wieder

Das Haus ist bis ins letzte Detail eingerichtet. Beim Betreten verspĂŒrt man sofort einen Wow-Effekt und „verliebt“ sich sofort in diese Unterkunft. Guter Start in den Urlaub wĂŒrde ich sagen. Das Haus bietet viel PrivatsphĂ€re, da wir das Sonnenbaden und Schwimmen lieben. Wir waren im April dort und das Wasser im Pool war gut. (20 Grad) Der Grill war ordentlich und sauber und lĂ€dt zum Benutzen ein. Das ist einfach wunderbar, besonders wenn die Sonne untergeht. Es sind ausreichend KĂŒchenutensilien fĂŒr den Grill vorhanden. Besonders schön ist die Umgebung im FrĂŒhling. GrĂŒn und viele Blumen und nicht zu heiß fĂŒr lange SpaziergĂ€nge in der Gegend. In Competa gibt es einen Bio-GemĂŒseladen, drei gut sortierte SupermĂ€rkte und einen schönen Kirchplatz, der zum Entspannen einlĂ€dt. Das ist also in Ordnung. Über den Weg dorthin wird viel geredet. Dieser ist wirklich sicher und einfach zu fahren. Meine Erfahrung ist ja. Versuchen Sie, ein Auto mit Automatikgetriebe zu mieten. Das ist so eine lustige Fahrt. Nicht nur die Straße zum Haus, sondern auch in der Umgebung. Uns hat dieser Urlaub so gut gefallen, dass wir sofort fĂŒr nĂ€chstes Jahr wieder gebucht haben. Grund: QualitĂ€t und Preis stehen in einem großen VerhĂ€ltnis. Und das macht einen Urlaub komplett.

Die Zufahrtsstraße zum Haus ist zwar etwas anspruchsvoll, aber letztendlich machbar. Habe die Ruhe und die Aussicht genossen. Wir dachten, es sei empfehlenswert.

Absolutely beautiful, but be prepared for extremely steep roads!!

We waited 2 years for this holiday due to COVID, and by this time we had another child, so we were travelling with a 6 year old and a 1 year old. The property didn't fail to impress. Money had clearly been spent on the furnishings and decor and the views are incredible. This is a gloriously, rural location, however, the roads getting to the villa were extremely steep and windy with many areas not sufficiently fenced. This is rural Spain... Be warned, you will need within your party a competent and confident driver. You will also need to be wary of taking young children. We had to barricade the exits from the garden and the stairs to the upper floor because the fencing and ballustrading in and around this property would not prevent a young child from falling off the balcony or down the mountain! If you can handle steep roads and do a little safety management, you'll be fine! Competa itself is a lovely little town, unfortunately we didn't see it at night as we dare not tackle the roads in the dark!

Die Anfahrt ist am Anfang etwas abenteuerlich, aber sie war gut befestigt und man gewöhnt sich schnell dran. Leider war es zum einfach mal Essen gehen zu weit in die Stadt, man muss zwangslÀufig immer fahren. Die Finca war voll ausgestattet und hat eine traumhafte Lage.
