There were silverfish bugs in the bathtub each morning. What looked like blood on one side of one pillow. I didn't discover the blood until the last day.

Our entire two day stay was absolutely perfect. Access to the property is quick and close to the freeway, check in and out was smooth, room was spotless (particularly happy with the cleanliness of the bathroom and comfort of the towels), and breakfast was on point both mornings. Great experience overall.

At 4:15am we went to turn the heat on in the room - smoke and fumes belted out along with a loud voice saying 'FIRE' 'FIRE' 'FIRE' - then the room smoke detector alarm started sounding off over and over. We turned the heater off - the fumes in the room were horrible. Since its a small room it filled up pretty quickly so it was not healthy - we got ready and checked out.

Our bathroom smelled like there was a dead animal in the wall. There was a strong smell of fabuloso when we got into the room. When it wore off, the smell was awful. When we alerted the front desk, no one apologized. The representative just said, "we will check it out."

The hotel was older but updated in various areas like the bed, tv, and bathroom. Breakfast was good and had a variety of items. There was an older musty smell in the room. Couldn’t figure out if it was the air conditioner or water. Could never get the free wifi to work

Excellent experience overall! ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Plenty of well lit parking close to the entrance. Desk clerk was friendly, helpful, and check-in was quick. Quiet clean room w/ a comfortable bed. CVS a few mins away.in case you forget toiletries, gas station directly across the street and restaurants a few miles away.I live locally and selected the Econdido location off El Norte Prkway bc I had an early shift the next day and it's a10min commute to work vs my usual 45 mins. Comparable to some of the hotels that charge $200+/night. Will return for sure.

It was very nice that the hotel uped our reservations to a suited. It was a nice surprise. The room was very nice. Would stay at this hotel again. Breakfast was very good. The staff is very friendly.
