Beautiful, spacious, & comfortable

Our group had a very lovely stay over the eclipse weekend. The beds were comfortable and the dining space was large. The views are magnificent and the skies are dark and starry at night. The owner’s economical policy of encouraging guests to bring their own sheets, towels, and paper products saved us a lot of money. There’s much to do in the area and I would definitely stay here again.

AC system is undersize for the house. Will not keep up on hot days. Ran all day when we were there until the middle of the night. Hours needs a good deep cleaning. Several issues with the cleanest. The reason house was available last minute has to do with its issues more than its poitive aspects. Fix the property and you will increase you occupancy rate. Have to provide our own sheets and towels is a huge issue. Would rent another place first that provides these.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This place was amazing. We were a little scared after reading the previous reviews but this house was exactly what we were looking for. It was clean, stayed cold, had a big kitchen and a bathroom in every room! My only complaint would be the pool was a bit dirty with lots of bugs. I’d suggest leaving some chemicals with instructions for people to treat the pool while staying there. We had a blast and if the house is available next year we’ll be back!

Nothing like we expected. Walked in smelt like weed went to the back porch there was blunts in the window. Floors were discussing hair and food and spilled drink stains all over the floors.The A/C unit wouldn’t cool the house untill about 3am and would get to about 73-74 and no lower we had to drive to Uvalde and buy fans for all the rooms. No WiFi nothing available on the direct tv. Toilets in 2 of the bathrooms leaking all over the floor.

Pool was dirty, house was unpainted and did not look like it was ready for rental. A lot of things were broken and for the cost of the rental, I was very dissatisfied. My 3 yr old grandson got a huge splinter from the front porch and on another occasion almost fell thru the rails when one of the post broke off. the outside bar stools were broken there was no wifi which was real inconviente on top of no cell service.We couldn't use any of the TV's cause all of the remotes were broken. No place to unpack your clothes so we lived out of our suitcases. Pots and pans were old and bent up like someone had used them as a hammer. The floors were sticky and nasty like they hadn't been cleaned in ages and the mop was disgusting. The #2 bedroom was hot and uncomfortable good thing we took our own fans. Oh, and at least 4 scorpions were found in the house. I'm just glad no one was stung.

NEXT! Never will I ever stay with this rental property again!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The address they gave was wrong. Not JUST wrong but it was in a gated subdivision and did not have an access code to. My 3 kids and I walked up and down the street looking for the given address to no avail. We couldn’t call anyone because we have Verizon. It was after 6pm so the office was closed. We finally figured out that the map they provided had a different target or Red Bulls eye than the address they printed on the map itself. The rental company also did not disclose they do NOT provide Wi-Fi at the property, if I had known this property would have been an absolute NO! The pool turned 2 days into our stay. My daughter and I had to go to Urgent Care after we got home for ear infections. The bathrooms were NOT cleaned and the kitchen did not have pot holders, sounds trivial until your in desperate need. We have been coming to Concan for 10 years and I have never been so disappointed in our rental property as I am with this one.
