The property was very nicely equipped for all of our needs. It was clean and comfortable. I have to say their mattresses are the best I’ve come across when traveling. Kara is great to work with and very prompt when responding to questions. We love the fact that they accommodate pets at their properties. This was not our first stay at the Casselman Loft and we look forward to trying out more of the Yough properties in the future.

Peaceful River Retreat

Lovely, tastefully decorated home with an amazing river view and a fully equipped kitchen where we made several meals. Direct access to GAP trail, for biking to Ohiopyle and Pinkerton bridges. Beautiful hikes nearby with waterfall Bald Eagle sighting and spring wild flowers. People with mobility problems may struggle with stairs.

Winter ski getaway

Clean and beautiful riverside loft. Views were awesome, location was central to a variety of different destinations: ski resorts (Seven Springs and Wisp) and Ohiopyle hiking trails. Beds were comfortable - memory foam mattresses. Plenty of amenities (linens, towels, soap, ice melt for front stoop, etc.). Our only complaint was that we could not get consistent hot water when showering or washing in the sink. I gave location four stars because we had to travel outside of town for anything we needed (like coffee). The local coffee shop was closed for the season as were local restaurants. I gave property manager communication four stars because there was no communication with the property manager. We did not have any issues that we felt warranted contacting the owner, but the owner also did not proactively contact us to confirm we were able to get checked in and had everything we needed. Overall, great stay. The Wi-Fi was excellent, which was important to my kids. We hope to make a return visit in the summer to enjoy the area and outdoor activities.

Fall Getaway

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful, well-appointed loft! It was the perfect getaway to celebrate Thanksgiving, play board games, and finish a jigsaw puzzle while eating leftovers and drinking hot cocoa. We really enjoyed the king size bed and comfy mattress as well. Overall a 10/10 stay!

We stopped off at Casselman River Loft on our drive to Kentucky for Thanksgiving. We felt right at home when we arrived. The loft is very nicely appointed and equipped with all the essentials. We hope to return!

Spacious cozy getaway

This property is a hidden gem! It was extremely clean, beautifully decorated, spacious and offered everything needed for a relaxing stay. The loft Is in a great location with very easy access to the GAP, and just a short drive to Ohiopyle. We look forward to a return visit.

Fall getaway

Newly renovated and modern loft in the heart of Confluence . Location is Close to Ohiopyle , Fallingwater , Kentucky Knob, Farmington, Maryland and WV. Kitchen well appointed. Having a washer dryer was a nice bonus. There a lot of stairs, we needed the cardio ;) Ate at Mitches fuel and food our 1st had nice pizzas ,salad and burgers. Try to get reservations at the Rivers Edge Cafe, food & service are excellent. Highly recommend staying at Casselman River Loft. Host was responsive to our questions.

Wow! The loft is amazing. It is meticulously clean, comfortable and spacious. Kara was extremely responsive when I had questions. This was hands down our favorite stop along the GAP trail.

Castleman Loft

This property is amazing! The best VRBO I have stayed at. The loft is spacious, very clean, and the location and view of the river makes it the perfect place. It is furnished head to toe with everything you could need while traveling. The modern decor and coziness of the place tops it off to make for a wonderful stay.

Perfect Loft!

Girls weekend

A lovely weekend getaway! Confluence is such a charming little town and close to many outdoor recreational areas. The space is huge, very clean, well appointed and just a neat place to stay! Highly recommend!

Convenient to bike on the GAP trail

My spouse & I, brother and sister—in-law enjoyed biking and hiking in the area end of September with leaves starting to turn. Visited Fallingwater and Kentuck Knob. Well-equipped kitchen with sharp knives and good cutting board and lots of counter space. Very clean and spacious rooms. The coffee nerds in our group loved the Ohiopyle coffee beans and the Cuisinart coffee maker with the rainforest drip. Streamed movies in the evening. Good Wifi.

Beautiful loft!

Our family spent two relaxing nights at the loft - which is spacious, clean, well-appointed and decorated so nicely. 20-25 minute drive to Ohiopyle for rafting. We recommend and world return!

Cool loft space with awesome view!

Kara has done an amazing job with this funky space in Confluence! We were unknowingly visiting just before the tourist season, which seems to start May 1, and therefore did not have many options for food and drink in town. Good thing the kitchen is equipped and the grocery store good, because we were able to cook breakfasts and one dinner ourselves. We did have a great time visiting the Wright houses, Fort Necessity (we love NPS sites), and doing some cool hikes near Ohiopyle. We hope to return sometime when more things are open to do some rafting and biking on the GAP. We will definitely stay in one of Kara's rentals when we do! Hopefully the Lucky Dog will be open next time!

What a great find! Absolutely loved the place! The space and decor was beautiful. The bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect and the kitchen was amazing. Plenty of space for the four of us to cook and hang out. We would definitely come back and recommend this rental to friends and family! Thank you!

This loft was spacious, beautiful, and clean! The kitchen was big and we enjoyed cooking family meals. My husband and I stayed here with our two kids and his brother/girlfriend. Hosts were very communicative and kind. Would definitely stay again!

Comfortable, close to the GAP trail

Perfect for two couples, nice kitchen, large open space to hang out together, river view, quiet. Was great to bike right from the house and be on the trail in minutes. Also close to hiking in Ohiopyle.

Lovely Loft

We found the loft to be stylish, comfortable, and accommodating. It’s a beautiful property with gorgeous views of the river and surrounds. A schoolhouse gone Shangri-La! Highly recommend.
