We stayed at the property in July, as a family, and had a really lovely time. The hotel is located on a beautiful fairly quiet street, very close to the harbor, shopping areas, and the harbor. The staff was excellent, and the Shrimp restaurant was really good. Highly recommend this property.

Good location and lobby area, but hallways, elevator and rooms were small. Various steps and small hallways made carrying your luggage to the room more difficult. No bell hops or luggage service to your room.

Good location, basic everything else

Don’t plan on getting any sleep between noisy bars and uncomfortable bed. Service is just okay. Pictures definitely oversell the quality of the hotel, dated and very basic.

This was my third time staying at this hotel. I’ve always had a pleasant experience: the staff is very friendly, the breakfast is very good, and the rooms are nice. However, during this last stay, I had an issue that left a bad impression. I had booked a room with a double bed more than six months in advance, but when I arrived, I was given a room with twin beds instead. No solution was offered— I was simply told the hotel was fully booked. It was quite frustrating, especially considering how far in advance I made the reservation, and I regret that the staff wasn’t able to handle the situation better.

An excellent location, easy walking distance to attractions, pretty hotel, tres chic. However, there is nothing like arriving at your hotel and having 3 front desk people watch you struggle to check in on the auto-check in machine - please can i just check in. Then the e-key didn't work getting me up the stairs, etc.

I would NOT recommend anyone to stay at this hotel. The location is Excellent and the staff very nice but the rooms have many problems. All the light switches have to be pressed many times to work at all; I once counted 48 times that I had to press the switch to turn off the overhead light for the evening!! The air conditioning works when it feels like it; you have to lower it over and over and it works for a short time and then stops again. I had to ask for a fan so I could tolerate the room. It was cooler outside but the room itself was stuffy and hot. The toilet is on the same plan of needing to press the button over and over for it to flush. An even bigger problem is all the steps in not normal places. You get off the elevator for your floor and halfway to your room you have to go up or down 3 steps. There is a step up to get in the door of your room and a step up and down going to and from the bathroom. This is a real middle of the night disaster waiting to happen. There is a tiny step coming out of the shower that you can barely see because the tile pattern stays the same but it is enough to potentially cause a fall.
