The main positive about this hotel is the location since there are few other hotels in the area. The room was clean but is due for upgrades. The staff was friendly. The restaurant, however, was a disappointment. We booked this hotel thinking it would be nice to stay in the park and have dinner after a day of hiking. The dinner food was not good, so we ended up having to drive into downtown Corbin for dinner after all. Breakfast was mediocre at best, and the coffee was terrible. So if you are staying here for the convenience of the restaurant, I really can't recommend it. If you are staying here for a room, then it's fine.

Beautiful location!

The check in was very quick and friendly. My room was decent, however the sheets are too big for the bed . The floor boards are gapping and the tub is extremely slippery when showering. Also some sound proofing between the connecting doors would be a good thing. Other then cosmetic issues I loved it!

A beautiful place to visit

It’s a great location. The air conditioner is too loud. A nice place to sit at night to listen to the insect orchestra is in competition with air conditioner compressors and bright lights. Breakfast options are minimal and off season Monday and Tuesday no lunch or dinner served at the lodge. Snack bar at the Falls closes at 5 pm, good dining options at Corbin a half hour drive away. The nature here is fabulous and there are many hiking trails. Stay for the location not luxury.

Quiet, quaint, but a bit aged. Expedia didn't show the onsite restaurant as closed on Mondays and Tuesdays so that was inconvenient. Nearby eateries were 25 min drive away. Falls are beautiful. Plenty of parking at lodge. I'd stay again but on diff day of week.

For the price, we expected a little more. The food was not good, for any of the meals for the price. Regular hotels offer a better continental breakfast. The meat with lunch/dinner was over cooked and looked like it came from a frozen bag. The vegetables didn't even taste good, very bland. It was like they are just cutting costs with no thought to the taste. With the beautiful view in the dining room, you would think they would at least clean the windows. That doesn't cost much. It just seems like they don't care if the guests are happy or not. I love the park and will probably go back but will probably get a cabin and bring our own food next time.

Dated but serviceable

The lodge is ancient and has an air of elegance fom the past. Bery simple and dated but pleasant. I understand that extensive renovations are happening soon. 🙏😁 The only elevator goes down one level to the restaurant. The stairs are steep and extremely narrow. The rooms are small and have only one place to sit other than the bed. The bathroom is small but serviceable. We arrived too late for dinner but it is apparently served cafeteria line style. For breakfast we were offered dry cereals, bagels, yogurt cups, bananas and small oranges, and simple Danish sealed in plastic. The staff were very nice. The setting is amazing. Well off the beaten track and very quiet.

Room was outdated giving it a dirty feeling. It was the tiniest room I have ever stayed in. Dust on ceiling and behind bed. Continental breakfast was less than average. It was a fantastic location to thw falls, the deck was very nice too. I would look elsewhere if ever in the area again.
