We stayed in the apartment for 13 days, two adults and two children. Overall, we loved it. Huge thanks to our personal manager, Effie, who was always in touch and helped resolve any issues that arose.
We chose the apartment because it was close to Bahia Mare. We love this beach bar and have been coming there for four years now. The map shows it as the second building, but Google says it's the third. In reality, it was the fifth building, which was a bit disappointing.
Minus: The apartment was small for us; it's perfect for two adults and maybe one child. There's no dining table inside. Eating on the balcony was nice, but the wasps and mosquitoes were sometimes very annoying. The shower drain didn't work properly; my husband cleaned it every three days. The bed linens were changed infrequently, maybe only once or twice in 13 days. There was no cleaning service. We were with a baby, so we mopped the floors ourselves, but the mop was in terrible condition.
Plus: A beautiful balcony with a view, and a fan on the balcony is a big plus. The kitchen is full of useful little items, but it feels like they were purchased by guests because nothing matches. Towels are changed three times a week, as is trash removal.
