Cozy little two bed, with a nice pull out queen sofa in a small sitting area / family room. Nice kitchen, clean bathrooms.The hosts were very accommodating for us, allowing a late checkout (which was just lovely and allowed us to sleep in. They also sent a text that the home was ready earlier in the day (though we couldn’t take advantage of that, due to travel time).The home is just opposite a lovely golf course, and had access to a nice little pool, which our daughter enjoyed. There’s a good beach access you can drive to, however, walking to the beach was at least a 20 / 25 min affair (no fun if you’re carrying stuff).Checkout instructions - first time we saw instructions to sweep the floors before we left. Also to empty dishwasher and put everything back in cabinets. The second seemed reasonable, but the first seemed weird, especially considering the cleaning fee that is charged.Speaking of cleaning, we found a half eaten dog bone in the kitchen. Not even in a place hidden away. So I wonder how thoroughly the home was cleaned between stays.

The unit was clean and comfy. Kitchen had everything we needed. However, i dont think the guests before us washed the dishes, we did. We had all the towels and blankets we needed. The decor was very nice. Honestly, we were happy with everything including the management staff. Thank you.

Corolla Beach Vacation

Our family had a wonderful time on our vacation in Corolla. The home was perfect for our family of four. A wonderful kitchen and living room to hang out in. Access to Barracuda Beach was easy and all of the attractions in Corolla. The bedrooms were comfortable with plenty of room for us. I would stay again anytime!

Perfect getaway

It was the perfect getaway for my family. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed to cook. The rooms were a great size and fit a pack n play for our little one to sleep in perfectly. Overall, we had a great long weekend there.

Much needed vacation in perfect spot

My wife and I, with one of our adult daughters stayed at Marsea for the week. This was a perfect fit for our visit to OBX. The 2 nice size bedrooms with attached baths are great for two couples or a small family. Very clean unit has plenty of kitchen space to cook all your meals, and is stocked with all the kitchen necessities to cook with. we used the grill and the convenient outdoor shower after the beach. The quiet community feel of this location is great. The pool has full sun all day, and is close to every unit. We will stay here again.

Clean modern stay

Place was spotless and very new modern feel, plenty of room with a large kitchen for cooking. Air-conditioned was ice cold and TVs were nice. My only complaint would be, not having a morning place to have a cup of coffee, while 2 chairs are i front of the unit, the place faces the parking lot. We would rent this place again

Charming, Clean & Close

A well deserved alliteration. We had a wonderful stay. This property is like new, well run, and very close to the beach and other attractions. Loved having the pool nearby, grill and outdoor shower were major bonuses. We will be back!

The property was as described. The only surprise was having to make beds upon arrival. Most places we stay have at least made the bed in the master bedroom. I can see not making fold-out sleeping locations. After a long trip, this did not give the best welcoming!

Pleasant Surprise Experience

The cottages are charming and the property is well-maintained. The pros are the location, the kitchen and the kitchen island seating. The beds are comfortable, too, but the furnishing are sparse and do not complement the small dimensions of the bedrooms. Built in night tables and a raised bed with under bed storage would be a fantastic “adjustment”. Built in dressers would also be fantastic. All the windowsills were thick dusty with bugs. Some of the cookware was not clean. The cable hookups were all unplugged and we were unable to get cable on any of the 3 tv’s. The washing machine was loud, the dishwasher was loud as well. The high ceilings are great, the HVAC worked well. The beach is a 10-15 minute walk. The bathrooms, especially the shower in the master, were great. Lastly, the table tents with the wifi password, they’re wrong. The password on the tents didn’t work, the password in the contract did work. Since it was February, it was quiet on the banks. It was an expensive five day stay considering some of the amenities, including the cable TV on three TVs, was not working. A return to 11A? Probably not.

Absurd rules

While the house was clean and fulfilled our needs, we were unhappy in another way. We had paid a hefty cleaning surcharge yet were told to vacuum and strip the beds and put towels in the bathtub and we did. But annoyed that we were asked to do so. The day before arrival I was told to bring paper towels, garbage bags, and toilet paper. These incidentals should have been provided. We are talking about pennies here . We traveled in a small car 14hours away and should not have had to be concerned with these items. THEY SHOULD HAVE BEEN THERE. ALSO,; The sheets provided were not on the bed and of a low quality and kept popping off the mattress. Please. Provide nice towels and sheets and paper products. And make up the beds. At these prices, that is expected . It was absurd that you did not do so.
