This was right on the water. The room was huge and had a great view of Currituck Sound. Very quiet and picturesque.

Love the location. Alot of nature and right on the bay. Great walk and bike paths. Nice small town community in off season. Access to the fitness center with nice pool was a plus. Breakfast was perfect for being on the go to hike, etc.

Loved the location Some of the walkways need repairs to the boards. Some sections were new & they were working on those sections when we were there. Had a room with a view. The beds were very firm which made it a little uncomfortable to sleep. The room we had was very spacious.

My husband & stayed in a sound side room and view was amazing. The place was clean & folks were friendly. We saw a few does & a buck in the parking lot. Heater was a little noisy and bed was not as comfortable as we would prefer, but I definitely would stay here again.

I love traveling but one thing I hate is knowing I have to lay my head down in a room that is not mine. My stay and my room was exceptional!! Clean, clean, clean. I felt so comfortable. The atmosphere was very peaceful and I loved being on the water. I will definitely be back !!!

You are paying for the beautiful views. Don’t expect any hotel perks. You are lucky to have a television that works, much less a refrigerator we had to have both replaced several times in a 4 day stay.

A Touch of Paradise

This property for the $$ was way worth it. Furniture in the room could use an upgrade but the run was spacious and most importantly ‘clean’. The hot showers never let me down. The entire property is cover by a boardwalk. The dock out into the sound is absolutely beautiful. The staff is awesome, very personable too
