We unfortunately had a disappointing experience at El Constante this time.The primary issue is that the listing is misleading. The VRBO photos show a balcony with a clear ocean-facing view, which was the main reason we chose this unit over another available (and more updated) option in the same complex. In reality, the balcony faces away from the sea and the view is obstructed, which did not match what was advertised. We raised this with the property manager during our stay and shared photos, but were told the listing was “correct.”In addition, the internet was down throughout our entire stay, which meant we were unable to use the TVs or any connected services.The unit itself lacked some basic finishing touches and upkeep. There was only one beside table - on one side in the main bedroom - and no table lamps, and several kitchen items (plates, glasses, and cutlery) felt sticky and appeared not to have been properly cleaned or used in some time. While the fridge worked well and the oven —though quite old — was functional, the overall condition did not reflect the price.We again followed up with the property manager after our stay regarding the misleading listing and have not received a meaningful response beyond being told they are “looking into it.”It’s worth noting that El Constante is a great complex and we have stayed in other units here before with much better experiences. For a similar price, there are significantly nicer and more updated units available

Reviewer Comments: FROM (0-10) - I would rate a 6.5**The ceiling fans could use an adjustment on speed control - not very much air was circulating on the second floor rooms.**If AC is to be controlled, maybe allow up to 65 degrees***TV in living area was impossible to control or even work the television aspect, only music station played. Maybe leave some bullet point instructions on how to work the TV for future guests.****ONLY POSITIVE WAS THE WASHER/DRYER AVAILABILITYI DOUBT IF I WILL EVER STAY IN THIS UNIT AGAIN, NOT A COMPLETE 5 STAR EXPERIENCE....

Had the essentials needed in order to cook home meals, etc. Four stars for property cleanness because we found a few hairs from previous vacationers, but it really doesn't bother our family or put us off. We absolutely loved how close we were to the beach. The foot rinse-off station outside of the property came in handy, but would've loved to have a complete head-to-toe rinse-off station once you get inside of the gate (right by the pool restroom) to be able to rinse off completely of sand before getting into the pool or walking back into the condo. The head-to-toe rinse-off station is the only recommendation that we have.
