Located on a canal just minutes from the beach and the bay, this two-bedroom, two-bathroom, corner condo is the perfect bet for your next coastal getaway. Here in Puente Vista, enjoy the view from the large deck overlooking the canal with a gas grill to cook the day’s catch!

This condo includes beach gear, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and a community pool and boat docks.

This three-story condo sleeps seven guests in two bedrooms.

The primary bedroom has a king-size bed, canal views, and a flatscreen TV. The en suite bathroom has a double vanity and a walk-in shower.

The second bedroom provides a full-over-full bunk bed, a twin-size trundle, a private balcony, and a flatscreen TV. The en suite bathroom is configured with a walk-in shower.

OUTDOOR AREA & AMENITIES

The east-facing, canal-view balcony provides morning sun and afternoon shade. Lounge in comfort while cooking steaks or veggies on the gas grill.

THE LOCATION

Located on a canal just off the Causeway, this home presents wonderful access to both the beach and the bay. A public boat ramp is 1.5 miles away, or about five minutes by boat. Enjoy having a wide variety of shops and restaurants within a quick drive.

For a day of fun, make a visit to Waves Resort. To discover more beauty of the region, head to Mustang Island State Park or Padre Island National Seashore.

Boat docks are available on a "first-come, first-served" basis.

Beautiful but needs maintenance.

It was beautiful but the grill needs to be replaced, The pots and pans do as well. The couch fell when I sat on it. The railing was broken the washer and dryer were not working properly the light in the main bedroom is dim and the lamps do not work. The worst part is I Called Vacasa to brig. This all to their attention and someone said they would call me on the 15th of June and I still have heard from them.

Great Location

The property is in a great location, and has plenty of space to spread out and be comfortable. Coffee on the deck was amazing, and the check in instructions were clear and easy to follow. Communication with the host was great and they were very responsive.

Great family place on the water

We loved our stay right on the canal. Tons of things to do right at the house with kayaks, standing boards, floats, a grill and the public beach is only 5 minutes away. We loved the Texas Sealife Center that rescues turtles and other animals too. My kids loved the bunk beds and patios too. There's salt and pepper available but no other condiments (just fyi since all places are different). Kids bedroom is up one flight of stairs and main bedroom is up 2 flights. We'd love to go back!

We're from Dallas but I wanted to plan a vacation to Corpus Christi since me and my husband never been there before I rented a condo in Puente Vista which was amazing clean beautiful with everything that we needed ...beautiful view very close to the pool minutes from the beach which was very convenient for us my kids loved it my husband loved it I loved it we will definitely be coming back next year for another visit couldn't of asked for better everything was perfect..

Property is great. Vacasa is not.

I have a mixed review about this vacation rental. The location is wonderful. The home itself is very nice. It is not the most updated but is very clean and has a very peaceful vibe. However communication with Vacasa is terrible. They manage to make the experience of working with them feel like reaching out to a nameless uncaring call center. I had several messages go without answer for over a week prior to the trip. They encourage you to use the call center but even then you are out on hold forever. When I finally got through to someone using the text service they acted like they hadn’t even seen my full message and only addressed part of our problem. Many reviews say the door lock doesn’t not work and they are right it does not work. It’s maybe a $50 fix. But although many reviews have said the same thing vacasa ignores the issue. I feel bad for the home owner that they are still choosing to use vacasa. Ultimately I don’t think I would go with a rental that uses a large property management company again. I much prefer having direct communication with the owner because they actually care about the renter. But the home is nice and it was great to be able to use the kayaks and paddle boards provided. The spot is incredibly peaceful. There are other condos in the same area that are owner run and I would recommend going with them.

Front door combination lock did not work. Had to call for help. Changing the combination on the phone didn't help. Finally opened a lock box and used a key to open the front door. Spent the whole week with only one key to open the door. Unacceptable situation.

Nice area plenty of room in condo. Good spot to get on and off island quickly. Enjoyed my stay. Only draw back didn’t have a dock right outside back. Had to walk down to eight to use dock there if want to kayak and someone had there boat tied up to it all week. Overall not a bad place and good service.

The good: The beds were clean. The house in general was acceptably clean, though it needed a deep clean and dusting. Good location. The kayaks and paddleboards are ok, if you are going to use them for several days, or if that is enough for who is staying here, but honestly, don't let it sway you to rent this property, because there are a lot of places to rent them. The bad: Even though the outside temps were only mid to low 80's the AC struggled to keep the house at 75, even though we closed all the curtains to block the sun. The house is set up so the bottom level is where the thermostat is, and if that says 75, the middle level (bedroom with bunk bed) and the upper level (master) are sweltering. The upper bedroom does not have any windows that open so there is no hope of a cooling breeze when the outside temps come down. The couches are so worn that when you sit, you just keep going down. The master bed has such body divots in it that it is incredibly uncomfortable. In general, run down and old, stained chair cushions, stained carpet, peeling paint on trim. The pool was NOT clean and well kept. Vacasa left us a dirty stained pool bag with clean towels, but the bag was quite off-putting. Please notice that while it looks like there are a certain number of reviews, that many are doubles, and this is bumping the rating up. I noticed that and decided to overlook it, and regret it. I would absolutely not stay here again.

Boat trailer Tag

Called the main office asking for a boat trailer tag that was not in the proper place where stated online. Never was contacted for a promised call back. Ended up making my own tag for my boat trailer. It was sort of an inconvenience worrying about my boat trailer being towed. Overall our stay was great.
