Winter stay

Great place even in the winter. We were looking at the location for future residence. This place was warm and comfortable during a very cold wet week.

Close In and Comfortable

This was our third stay at the property and we have enjoyed it each time. It is clean, comfortable for two couples and a child, dog friendly and close to the beach. I love that we can see the water from the deck and that the yard is carefully fenced and carpeted in St. Augustine without the plague of grass burrs, thus good for children’s small feet and furry dogs.The kitchen is well equipped and there is even a decent array of spices. It’s a great place to stay.

We loved it! Nothing negative for us, it was a great stay. Deck, pool, location and amenities were all perfect. I never found the laundry area but didn’t need it anyway. We would definitely stay again!

Perfect location for calm and relaxing vacation. Close to the beach. Wonderful deck and pool area. House was clean, beds were comfortable, set up nicely for pets. Our first trip with two of our young dogs and it was so easy and safe.

Great Weekend!

We very much enjoyed Unit B and our weekend vacay. The house had everything and more that we needed. Even though we never had time to use the pool, it was beautiful and sparkling clean! Great convenient location to the beach and downtown. Rental pricing for this unit was much more reasonable than other places we have rented at Port A. Will definitely stay here again!.

Location, Location, Location

This rental was perfect for us. First it is pet friendly. It is fenced and if you travel with your dog he will be secure as soon as you enter the property.Second, it if hard to fine a property with direct access to the beach. This rental is about fifty yards from the beach. It is near the pier and you can sit on the deck and watch ships arriving. If I ever return to Port A, I will stay here again.

Best Beach House ever

Can’t say enough about how perfect this place was. The house has everything you need to have a family weekend kitchen stocked with everything you need to cook. And awesome long bench table to seat everyone. And of your vacationing with a pet it’s perfect. Everything gated and fenced backyard. The location can’t be beat a short walk to the Beach and pier and downtown restaurants. I met the owners super nice. Thanks for sharing your home

2nd visit

This is our 2nd stay at Gulf Breezes. We love the pool and closeness to the beach. I do wish they would allow early checkin when rental is ready to go. We did have an issue with the property being cleaned, but a manager called us back immediately and resolved the situation. We will stay again, hopefully with early check in next time.

Like being home !

This home had all the amenities of home. Including an air fryer for my leftover shrimp! Everything I needed was supplied. Owners really make sure that whatever you need, you can find. They had games, DVD’s and TV’s in every room. The pool was great! It is a perfect place for a dog since there are several gates and yard. It is quiet and close to everything. I will return here! I hope it’s always available when I come back because I don’t want to stay anywhere else.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Having never been to Port Aransas it was a fun little town. You could see they are still rebuilding after the hurricane but did not affect us. Lots of places to eat and shop and of course the beach. Place had a pool but not heated or cleaned in the winter months which was a bummer but over all a good place and not crowded this time of the year when we went the end of January.

Loved the location of the house, roomy and well furnished with what we needed. Disappointed that the pool could not be heated so therefore it was not used and they must not service it in the winter months. Windows need to be washed and spray for bugs as I found a few dead and alive ones. Management company was quick with response and friendly. Lots of rebuilding all around Port Aransas but a cool place to visit.

We loved the property. Great deck. Beautiful accommodations. Quick walk to the beach. Nice pool. But, we did not like having to check out at 10 am on Sunday. Didn’t make sense to us when a hotel checkout if 11 or noon. Also, we requested someone to come out and check to see if there was a rollaway bed available, no one showed when we were told they FYI, hot water in kitchen sink doesn’t work consistently.

Excellent vacation home

So close to the ocean. Great pool that is fully shaded in the afternoons. Had basically everything we could have needed. Even the little things such as matches, paper goods, and cookware. We really enjoyed our week long stay. The only dice roll with this property is who you may have for neighbors. Sharing the pool can be difficult at times. Especially if they are inviting other people over who are not staying at the house. Not sure what could be done to help ensure that situation is avoided in the future. Over all we loved our stay and do plan to re stay at this property on our next visit.

Highly Recommend

This was not only a wonderful property, but the management team made everything great. When we reached out with questions, the response from the team was immediate and helpful. If the didn’t have the answer right away, they let us know they were following up and did so quickly. The location of the house was great with easy access to the beach and restaurants. The house was very clean and as described. One thing to note, this is a duplex lower unit. You can hear the people in the upper unit walking around. Overall great place to stay, we would definitely return.

The house was PERFECT and stocked with anything and everything you need. My only complaint is the day we got there our kitchen sink was leaking we called it in and were told someone ours be there within an hour we then got a text saying it would be 2 hours, no big deal... 3 hours went by and we had heard nothing I had to continue following up with them and finally at 9:30pm a handyman showed up! The communication was very poor! Overall stay was great!

Great view of the Gulf.

If you like to see the gulf and watch the ships go by this is the spot for you. We stayed on the lower floor and the views from there are great. The way they manage the keys in unique so have your instructions handy when you enter the first time. If there are people upstairs in the other unit during your stay you will here them at night but it wasn't a big problem. If we go back we will take a fan to help mask the footsteps at night. We used the kitchen twice and I was glad that I brought one of my pans. The plates and glasses are fine. It is very close to the beach with great views. We will probably rent this unit again in the future>

Clean and convenient

The property was very clean when we arrived. We really appreciate that! Being so close to the beach was amazing for the kids. The pool was also great! The only cons that I could mention about this property: - The view of the ocean is obstructed by a large hotel. - The pans, which were non-stick, had a lot of scrapes and scratches and some rust. We had every intention of cooking for our entire stay, but ended up eating out so that we didn't have to deal with that potential poison. Please replace these more often. - One roll of paper towels for 8 people on a 4 night/5 day stay... Isn't enough. It would be nice to. I generally wouldn't list any of these items as cons, and they certainly aren't show stoppers for us. However, for the price, I thought I should mention these small inconveniences. We will likely be back on our next stay in Port A!

Perfect for Pup’s First Beach Vaca

Loved the location, private fenced in yard with pool and no neighbors to speak of. Minor sound from construction going on but honestly not a problem. The beach was a block away and it was a short walk. So much so that I forgot the sunscreen and quickly walked back to grab it and was back on the beach in 15 minutes round trip. The home was clean as pictured. Master bedroom was spacious and had plenty of places to put luggage but no hangers. Water pressure in master shower was amazing. Hallway bathroom faucet had very low pressure so my quest kept using my bathroom to brush teeth and wash their face. Loved that the place had a spacious dining table, huge sofa and tons of games. Our puppy 9months old did very well with the gated downstairs pool and yard area. The dog also enjoyed being on the private patio in the morning as we watched the waves and scenery with our morning coffee. I will stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay with your dog or kids!
