The property was beautiful. The separate entry downstairs room/bathroom was perfect for our adult nephew. The loft was a haven for our 17 year old and the 11 year old was satisfied with the sleeper sofa. The beds (foam mattress?) were exceptionally comfortable and there were many charming touches throughout.
A great blue heron landed on the rooftop nextdoor. The generous exterior deck provided a comfortable space for bird watching.
One of 3 bathrooms, nicely decorated and extra linens were sealed in plastic and in the bathroom closet.

Can’t wait to come back!

Talk about a perfect vacation. This property was extremely beautiful and clean. It suited my family in every way possible. We stayed 7 days, and each time we opened the doors it was hard to believe we had to leave. Awesome location close to the water and shops made the trip so relaxing. Will definitely be coming back to stay at this location.

Other than being locked inside the residence for about 45 mins and the downstairs room which was a not a great thing for us. The property was great and very beautiful. Everything was fully equip and useful. Great location.

Peaceful and relaxing

Neighborhood felt secure and safe. The distance was close to what my family needed. The beach near by was relaxing and the peer was peaceful! Want to go back soon! Definitely looking to go back and re-booking this house for all of our future visits

BIRTHDAY WEEKEND

Everything about this place was fabulous. Only wish it had been a little more specific that the second bedroom downstairs is separate from the top house, meaning you literally have to go through the outside stairs to go back into main house. Which wouldn't be ideal for family with smaller kids. Other than that it is perfect, clean and very close to shops and beach.

Beautiful place, if you are traveling with little kids there are things to be aware of...

Lovely place, beautiful neighborhood, cant complain about anything. Its set up to be safe for littles too, with a pull-across gate on the patio and fenced in parking under the house, a yard, and a hose to rinse off after a beach visit. If you are traveling as a group theres privacy for 3 couples, 4 if you count the couch in the living room. If you are traveling with small children though you should be aware, the second bedroom is actually an apartment under the main house. This is really nice if you are newlyweds traveling with friends ;-) but not so much if you are a single parent with 6 kids under 12. Mine are older, so it wasnt an issue, the teen girls enjoyed having their own "hotel room" but it may be if you are traveling with littles, and the listing didnt make that clear. Communication was good though and hopefully that will be clarified for future guests :-) We loved our stay here, and would stay again if we get a chance :-)

This is where the downfall is. The home is labeled a 2 bedroom on VRBO but in reality it is a 1 bedroom with a totally separate entrance downstairs for a guest bedroom. This is not suitable for a 9 and 10 year old. Therefore we had to all cram in the living room and 1 bedroom while paying for a 2 bedroom we o my got to utilize 1 bedroom.

Loved it!! The property was just as it was described. It had all the amenities needed. Near the water with the beach within an easy drive. It was great to get our of Michigan for the month of March.

Wonderful property in a great location

We enjoyed our stay at the property and would highly recommend to others. It was very cleaned and well stocked with everything we needed. We had 4 people staying in the house for the weekend and used both bedrooms. The bedroom on the first floor is small, but cozy. The beds were very comfortable. Communication with the property owner was great. The house is not on the water, but very close to it and within 5 minutes of Rockport beach so was a great location for us. We would definitely stay there again.

Cute House!!

My husband and I and two of our friends stayed for a long weekend! The house was well equipped and super cute! Even had 2 Keurig coffee makers! The downstairs bedroom has a separate entrance, but gave our friends a little extra privacy! My only thought was that the house could have used another comfy chair or recliner so that 3 of us didn’t have to sit on the sofa! Minor problem! We enjoyed our weekend and would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful Property!

This location is super close to the beach and the downtown area. The property looks brand new and it is very well outfitted and comfortable. One note, the second bedroom has its own entrance and cannot be accessed from the main house.
