This house was AMAZING! The only reason I didnt give this stay a 5 star review is because 5 hours before check in I was informed the pool heater was broken. That was a HUGE selling point for this house as our trip was in October. It was only semi-warm enough for my teens to use 1 time but still too cold for me so I was unable to swim the ENTIRE stay. The host didn't even offer to give me an additional amount off of my trip. In summary, I would stay at this house again as long as I was ASSURED the pool heater was working.

This was one of the best places we have stayed on Port Aransas. At first glance of the exterior, you could tell there was a difference between this house and the surrounding structures. The setup with the bedrooms gave everyone additional privacy, but then the openness of the common areas brought everyone together. Game room was a hit. Highly recommend.

Pool is excellent. Kitchen is good. Downstairs Air conditioning is ok but very noisy. In the master bathroom the noise is similar to a jet engine starting. Upstairs AC was very nice. Many improvements in the house but still needs repairs( towel racks, sink stopper). Towels and washcloths were short. There were pool towels last year but none this year. Roof still leaks. Water pressure in bathroom sinks was terrible!

Beautiful Beach House

We had a great stay at this beach house on the Texas coast! The highlight for us was definitely the private pool in the backyard – perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach. The house was comfortable, well-kept, and had everything we needed. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway by the water.

Nice. The weather was good but not great. AC/DeHumidifier ran constantly and was very loud. Quite a distraction when watching TV or trying to sleep. Pool was FANTASTIC! Kitchen is very clean and well stocked with appliances and utensils. This was our 4th visit to the house.

Perfect for family get away

The house was beautiful and well maintained. We did have some difficulty with one of the a/c units but the problem was resolved pretty quickly given it was over a holiday. Our family particularly enjoyed the pool and game room in the evenings after our daily adventures. The kitchen and prep kitchen provided tons of space of snacks and refreshments. Would highly recommend this property.

Awesome Getaway

This property exceeded my expectations. The pictures were great but waking in and seeing it in person was

Perfect Modern Relaxing

This property was amazing! All of the updates were on point, modern yet cozy beach feeling. The pool was a huge hit and the multiple gathering spaces made the hot Texas sun more enjoyable. The beds were super comfie and all were king size, so everyone was happy with that note! The deck above the garage was a fun place to hang out in the evening...jyst fabulous all around.

The pool is very nice and large. The yard also has a lot of space and breeze. The property could use a coat of paint on the outside and the trim on the inside of the property. Didn't cause an issue, would just make the property better. The roof did leak quite a bit after the storm, but the property management company was very responsive. There are several wasp nests around the property that need attention. Overall there is lots of space inside and out. There isn't beach access which would be nice as well, but it is just a short drive. Lovely property inside and out!

Family getaway

We came in with heavy hearts as we recently lost a brother. We were looking for a getaway we can take his and our kids so we can find some smiles and begin the healing process. This place allowed us to do just that. Spacious, private pool and close enough to the beach, everything we needed and more. Thank you for the wonderful accommodations. We will be back!

Nice Home but Construction is a Major Issue

The place is very nice and clean and I believe the listing is quite accurate. We enjoyed the pool and the game room. Early in communication we recieved the following from the host: "There is currently another home being built next door, it has a lot of progress thus far so we're hoping it will be done by the end of the month." Unfortunately, this was very misleading. This home has another 2-3 months before being complete, the house has not been touched on the interior as of our visit. The exterior siding was being installed (40% complete) while we were there. Keep this in mind if you have this booked over the next few months. There were workers there from 9-5PM daily and the house is so close that when they are working outside , which they were, they are almost on top of you when you are poolside. It's weird. Additionally, and this is not an embellisment, you can hear when they hammer from literally everywhere inside this home except the far bedrooms. Once complete that won't be an issue, of course, but the home next door is very close and the back proches on the second and third floor are like balconies over this home's pool. Honestly feel bad for the owners of this place because of it....

Construction noise extremely loud

This was the worst experience that we have had in 10 years of vacationing with VRBO. There is a gigantic house being built a couple feet away from the fence that towers over the pool / patio area. This is not in any of the pictures shown online. It looks very relaxing in the listing however, upon arrival we heard drilling, hammering, sawing, and men yelling. They didn’t leave until 8:30-9:00pm and we’re back at sun rise. No relaxing at this property being done. There are a lot choices for rental properties. I write this review to give an accurate description of this property today.

Wonderful home and pool.

It was a very pretty home and a wonderful pool. It is close to town for easy access to go to shopping, eatery, and to the ferry. There is a king size bed in the master, a queen bed in the second bedroom, two full bunk beds in the third bedroom with a trundle bed. It was very convenient to have a golf cart and an ice machine on the premises. It offers a large kitchen but it does need to be stocked with more pots, pans, bowels and kitchen items. The home also needs to offer more towels especially if they say it sleeps 10 people. And it also needs more blankets. Very pretty home but could use a little bit more upbeat decorating especially for price point. You do have to drive a few minutes on the golf cart to the beach.
