Hotel looks and feels very run down, elevators feel like they’re going to break and are very small for how big the hotel is, and AC in the room does not cool down the room. Room was not very clean and there was sand all over the floor, we notified staff and they told us “that must be inconvenient for you”. Only good thing about this hotel is the beach front and the restaurant in it. That’s it.

The pool and hot tub weren’t going to be available during our stay, so that was a bummer. When we first got to the room the shower had hair and also I like to go through the room with a disinfectant towel, while doing that there was short hairs on the toilet seat. Another issue was the outlets in between the beds didn’t work, As well as the small lamps on the wall by one of the beds. Wouldn’t stay here again.

Based on other reviews, I called previously to ensure that the pool was open. That was the one amenity we definitely wanted during our stay. They told me it was. When we arrived, they told me the pool was closed and they would make that up by not charging the resort fees, which was $11. They said it would be open the next day we stayed two nights. The next night they said again it wasn’t gonna be open. They had to drain the pool. It wasn’t gonna be open for another few days. It was very disappointing because that’s the only reason I got this hotel. Secondly, the area around the outdoor bar and pet area was disgusting. For almost 2 days I just kept walking by overfilled Trash and completely overfilled dog poop bags. I finally told the people at the hotel and they said it was the restaurant’s responsibility, which is even more disturbing. Finally on the day we were leaving it was picked up, but I don’t think it would have,had I not mentioned it. It looked like it had been there for months. There’s a lot of construction debris and trash on the side, everything seems dirty and old. The windows of the ocean view room are permanently fogged up. The elevators are ridiculously tiny. The carpet is covered in tar. Everyone that was working in the pool/bar area seem to have absolutely no sense of urgency. It was very disappointing especially when it’s over $600, but basically just got a cheap dirty hotel. Stay across the street and walk like everyone else does they seem a lot nicer.

I would have thought that the name Wyndham meant something when it came to resorts or hotels. For all the renovations that were done to the hotel/resort,the didnt put the same kind if effort in the rooms. Doors were either stuck or jammed and main entrance door to room was so loose that anyone would have been able to enter using any kind of object. Sofa bed was in just as bad shape. Mattress was filthy,very thin to where you feel bar to sofa on your body and torn. We spend every summer there and this will more likely be the last time. Wyndham should put more effort into the rooms as well.

Old weathered hotel on the beach.

The only thing this place has going for it is location. It is on the seawall. Great views from oceanfront balconies. If you want a old weathered room with fresh paint on the beach this is for you. Includes nothing, everything is an extra charge, minimal service available. Steps from the beach, that is all.
They cleaned around the roach for 4 days.

We use to come to this hotel years ago and the appearance of it has gone downhill. All the chairs at the pool were broken. The tile where the elevator buttons were were broken and missing. There was a leak in the hall of our floor.
