Small and Charming

This property is wonderfully located for the 3 hole chip ‘n’ putt area at Palmilla. The property is not large and yet was comfortable for the five people staying as long as we closed the sofa bed fully every morning. The staff was very communicative and answered any questions we had VERY quickly. We would stay here again.

Beautiful view of the golf course fairway from the kitchen window. Close to all of the amenities. Assigned parking spots are extremely close and convenient to the home. You can walk anywhere on the property with ease. Clean and comfortable! One of the best places to stay at Palmillas!

House was musty and had black mold on the vent covers in the bathrooms, the mosquitoes coming off the golf course were AWFUL and the AC quit working in the middle of the night the last night of our stay. The resort pools are nice, and the availability of the beach chairs and umbrellas were nice too.

Decent little Casita

We really liked Palmilla, it's clean, modern and new. The Casita was okay, slightly smaller than anticipated. Water pressure was a bit low. Otherwise the overall aspect of the house was really nice and clean. Wish they had blackout curtains in the bedrooms though. As for the Palmilla guest services, they could use a bit of improvement, they weren't helpful at all in letting us know that we had to book golf carts or umbrellas and chairs (for the beasch) in advance.

Perfect little getaway

This home provided the perfect getaway. Right on the 9th hole, and the loop was great. The loop Provided endless fun. We rented a golf cart for easy access to the beach. The resort care center provided easy rental of the golf cart and the beach chairs and umbrellas. Perfectly located to access by golf cart cinnamon shore & port A restaurants. The golf club was great, the resort pools were beautiful and well equipped. One with a swim up bar & restaurant, this one also provided basketballs for pool basketball and other play. Then just drive around- soak up the beauty of the community. The homes, landscaping and views are just breathtaking. Highly recommend.

Would like to return

The house was adorable and super clean! The resort is a gem, particularly liked the restaurants and pool areas. The kids loved taking the cart over the bridge and onto the beach. Please note, our upstairs bathroom sink did not drain. We also thought the cart rental was excessively expensive. The beach service took a long time (waited over an hour for drinks etc) but also understand the resort was v busy. Other than that, great staff and ambiance! We want to go back!

Loved the beach. Big Ant problem in kitchen all over the counters. So much construction and heavy equipment made it difficult to drive around and very noisy., blocking streets. Power was out for few hours. Someone ran into electrical box. Computers down several days so staff could not help.

Cute Beach House!

The property is nice. A disappointment that one bedroom did not have twin beds for kids. Teenagers do not want to share a bed. The bathrooms are interesting. The only way to store things in the bathroom is in a cabinet over the toilet. I know picky but who wants to lose toiletries. No place to hang towels in one bathroom. Also, no remote to the tv in that bedroom. No coffee. A standard at most places we stay.

Perfect

This was probably the best home I have ever stayed in. It was beautifully furnished and extremely well equipped, I could easily have cooked a thanksgiving dinner there. The complex was lovely and very quiet (aside from construction noise- which we were warned about.) Access to the beach was on the door step and we saw turtles at the break water beyond the pier, which made our trip. Should be noted that one pool was closed at this time of year, so no swim up bar, however was cold so we wouldn’t have used it anyway! Also, we would have liked some information in the house about the complex and the surrounding area as we only discovered the gym as we were leaving! That said, I would highly recommend this property and would definitely come back. Nearly forgot, the Black Marlin restaurant had the best sea food I’ve had in Texas and was very reasonably priced. Staff there and at the bar Reds, were super friendly and efficient. Thank you

Beach escape

The house is super cute and laid out nicely. The beds are very comfortable, which ultimately is most important to my family. However, the dryer isn’t effective, took several rounds to dry anything. The dishwasher, the turn on button is rather hard to start because of the location. The kurig needs descaling so we used the microwave for coffee. And last the fire alarm went off as soon as turn on the stove. So you may not want to expect to cook in the house unless you can take the noise. So we cooked the one night. Vent a hood is must. I think if this maintenance is done you would really enjoy the stay. Beach access is great. The restaurant at the golf course is awesome, small but the food was amazing!! The golf course is immaculate, the greens are absolutely beautiful, don’t miss the chance to play. The pools and the beach service was excellent. Over all we really enjoyed Palmilla Beach and Golf Resort.

Not worth it

The house was great, but the service and amenities at this development are subpar. Nobody ever followed up to contact us about our issue with a non property vehicle parking in our space and nothing was done to address this. We will not stay at any of your properties again. You cannot price properties at this rate and then be unresponsive and let off property people/ vehicles take up paid spaces. There was also no wait staff service for the exorbitantly priced cabanas or beach rentals that we purchased for hundreds of dollars. We have stayed at properties of this category and higher, and even lower cost properties, in PA, on the east coast, Gulf coast, west coast and Rocky Mountains and have never had these types of issues be ignored with zero follow up. Poor service can ruin an otherwise great property.
