The house was in need if repairs. The laundry room smelled and had no lights. The TV in the living
The location was good. The house was over prices for what you got. Lights didnât work and washer was really dirty and had to be cleaned before use. Pots and pans the same. The third night we were there someone broke into the truck and laundry room and stole all our fishing equipment. We are simple people and could over look most things. Maybe you should warn people about the neabor hood. We work hard for the things we have in life. This was the first time we had been to Port A as a family and were disappointed for the money we had spent.
Overall the stay was good we have pretty much what we needed. The fridge was turns off and that took time to get the temperature safe to where we could put our cold food in. The mosquitoes were
Extremely bad. You have to run out to get to you car so you Dont get attacked it was really bad. We never went outside on to the back yard or front to hang out. But for the location it was near a lot of places.
The house was dirty and the bed sheets were dirty. The property manager was responsive but the maid didnât come out for 4 hours after we checked in. I was told that I would get one night free because of condition of the house. That didnât happen and I havenât heard anything from the property manager since then to give me an update on the refund for the one night. I was also told by the property manager that she would have moved us but they were completely booked for that weekend. The maid did come back the next day to clean with her kids. I have stayed in that area before and never had a problem. I love visiting Port A and itâs a family tradition that has an almost 30 years memories. I know that things happen, but good customer service is communication and follow through with what you said you would do to rectify adverse events. I hope that the owner reads this review and responds.
The property manager allowed us to check in a little bit early which we really appreciated. However there was a lot of damage to the property. Broken windows, unsteady staircase & railings, electrical issues. There was a mixer beater locking a window. With a little bit of TLC this could be a very nice property. We appreciated the access to the community pool. The coffee pot was a little Keurig. And it didn't work. That was a big thing for me. I always try to leave a property in a little bit better condition than I found it. That was easy to do this time
Very responsive owner/company. Coastal eds golf cart rental is super close so that drop off and pickup of our cart was easy. Short drive to the beach and shops. Access to the community pool was great with kids. Beds were not the most comfy, but doable for a couple nights. Kitchen was not as well stocked as I would have expected. Kcup coffee maker only, no seasonings just s&p, only 1 baking dish and not very many plates (we brought paper plates anyway). Our family of 5 did fine, but no way it would have worked with any more people. There was no guide book on how to work tvs or suggestions on what is around. Rooms were bright in the morning and the bunk room glass door had no covering at all. It was all very OK. For the price I'd say it just about met expectations.
