Very nice! Very spacious! And the best little details all around. Be advised these houses on the island have all the living area up stairs. This house has a great advantage with the boat house being finished out as a game room with TV ping pong and toilet room. Ya. 5 stars

Pelican’s Porch was a terrific beach house for our family-grandparents, adult children and grandkids. House was the perfect size and we enjoyed the private pool, outdoor area, and game room. Location was close to everything we needed including the beach.

Great location and nice house

My family really enjoyed the house, the view was nice and the pool was great. The house was a short drive to the beach, maybe 5 minutes. The appliances could use some upgrading, dishwasher didn’t really clean the dishes and the grill needed to be manually lit. Also would be nice to restock the game room with newer equipment. Overall I would recommend this house to any family looking for a clean, relaxing house close to the beach.

Loved the house and downstairs pool area and game room. Came with grandkids and they had a blast! Wish there would have been some more cookware specifically pans, we do a lot of cooking and there was only two older pans to pick from but everything else was top notch!

perfect January bday vacay

This house was sooo relaxing! We brought our own food so we wouldn't have to deal with restaurants, and the house had everything in the kitchen we needed. We spent a lot of time on the balcony watching birds and playing board games. I appreciated all the clean (seemingly brand new) towels available. Also the location of the windows made the house bright and sunny, but we still had privacy. This house was truly perfect for my man and me and our sweet pup!

Amazing Stay

Absolutely a beautiful place! Everything from home to furnishings to pool to play room was over the top clean fresh and very welcoming. The pool was kid friendly as was the entire place. The Bird Sanctuary was unbelievable with literally hundreds of different coastal species in and out frequently. One of our days and I’m not exaggerating thousands of birds flew in and out in flocks!!! About 9am! Beautiful view of the sanctuary with ships passing thru the channel in the background. Beach was amazing and clean, restaurants were amazing and plentiful. The entire Island of the people that live their were all kind and serving! Much to my surprise and no intrusion whatsoever, A propane tank knob for a grill was stuck within 20 minutes a staff person showed up with a new one! The pool company stopped by and checked treatment, someone even came and brought trash can back from the street!! This company is Top Gun!! We will be back!!

We loved this house, it was perfect for 2 families with children. The pool was great after going to the beach for the day. The kids enjoyed the game room. We love that the nature preserve was behind us, the view was amazing. We are now looking to book again along with the house next door for a larger group! Highly Recommend!

Great location with Great Views.

Everything about the house was great. The views of the ship channel were awesome. A short 2 min drive to the beach was great too. The pool needs some type of shading. It’s pretty much worthless after lunch because the water is hotter than bath water. Other than that, the property is A+.

Amazing Property!

We definitely love this property so that is why we had to come back. The location is great very close to the beach and the view is amazing. We love to sit down drink our coffee and watch the pelicans and the boats passing by. The pool is great the kids had lost of fun and the play room is great for the entire family. Seamless Serenity

The property is well documented in photos and well stocked with everything one might need for a stay in Port Aransas (and more). The management and consideration of the property are where things shine beyond the photos. All light switches are labeled, signs are posted for use of amenities and Wifi, there are USB mounted charging ports on the back of nightstands, and everything's in pretty good condition. The property is well situated facing a small marsh with pelicans, fish that jump out of the water, and birds diving in to catch what they can and you can see for miles into the distance with cargo ships/tankers coming and going. It's a short drive to anywhere in Port A, but it was actually preferable for us to be in a small community away from the beach and this property delivered. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and appreciate all the work that Sway, Jim, & Chuma put into the place!

Get what you pay for.............

In Port A you had better be ready to rent a home with stairs as they all do. No problem. We wanted a home with a deck and pool that did not have neighbors to the rear of home and a decent view. This home has that. It looks over a marsh that waterfowl frequent and in the distance you can watch the oil freighters make their way through the channel. The home had everything we desired and we were very please. Like the Port A area also. We were a little before the busy season so it was easy to get around, into restaurants, and not busy on the beach. There are now homes going up everywhere!
