Enjoyed our time there while in Port Aransas. The only area which could have been better was the entertainment package. We were unable to view channels that we enjoy at home - Fox News, ESPN. The package was mostly Apple TV. The layout of our unit was excellent though.

Spacious Rental

We very much appreciated this two story spacious property where each bedroom had its own bath. Kitchen and living areas easily accommodated our family. And the included golf cart and beach gear package made getting down to the beach a breeze. That said, a few details could be addressed that would have made this even nicer. First, although I booked through VRBO, I had to download another app to be able to access documents and information about the rental, which at times was confusing and time consuming for communication. This is the first beach property of several that we have booked in recent years that did not include beach towels. That would have been a nice plus. The rug in the living room could use a good cleaning. My young grandson ran barefoot over it and picked up several sticker burrs soon after we arrived. I picked out at least 6 more. Looking for his scattered cars under the furniture, we found dirty socks (not ours), some chips, and a domino! A small amount of laundry detergent for a couple of loads would be welcome, as would a few basic pantry items, dish cloths, and reusable food storage containers. The listing mentioned travel size toiletries were provided, but we didn’t see those. Controllers for the fans and their ceiling lights were missing batteries to operate. Guide for TV use needs to be updated. Arriving at 4 PM and then having to go shop for everything is hard. We brought as much as we could, but it wasn’t enough.

We loved Nikki’s Retreat. The house was fantastic. Everything as advertised. Check in and access was super simple and communication was great. Easy access to the beach, golf just down the road. Had a great stay and would do it again.

The only thing that sucked was the weather...

Our stay in Port Aransas was just perfect. For my wife and me, our son and his wife and their four children, the layout was excellent. They were all downstairs, and the kitchen, living area and master suite were all upstairs. Everything was perfect. The only thing that dampened the visit was the 20-30 mph winds that blew us off the water during our attempt to fish. Thanks VRBO!

Family Thanksgiving Getaway

This property was just perfect for our family to celebrate Thanksgiving weekend! Very spacious and welcoming house. Lots of room for our family to enjoy playing games and trips to the each! Having the use of a golf cart made it so easy to get to the beach.

Perfect Getaway!

This property is amazing! One of the three pools is across the street and the boardwalk to the beach is at the end of the street. The home is nicely appointed and will make your stay enjoyable.

Summer getaway

This is a great property for the family. Easy access to the beach and town. Easy to rinse off before entering the house after beach visit. The open concept in the upstairs kitchen/family/dining room is wonderful. This is our second year to stay here and we plan to return next year. The outdoor grill is functional but may not to be replaced in the near future.

Great stay!

Loved the property and especially the patio. The house was super clean and the thoroughnes of the management in explaining the process was smooth. Loved having the golf cart. Very close to the beach literally walk away but we choose cart like everyone else. Wish the grill was in better shape, was looking forward to using it but couldn't alas. But we enjoyed local cuisines and it was great experience overall.
