Nice location, it was close to some good restaurants in close proximity and itâs such an easy drive to the airport and Port Aransas. We enjoyed walks around the neighborhood. The house has a good amount of supplies when we were there. The hosts were great at quick response. On arrival we immediately had to call the host since the incorrect access code was given to us -causing a brief moment of anxiety trying to get in. With only a little delay we got inside. 2 items to remark about though were the pool and mattress comfort: 1st itemâŠ.Staying there during the 1st week of February we understood that the weather can really vary and itâs not typical swimming weather but when we had a day or 2 where we wanted to hang out by the pool and maybe take a quick dip we couldnât. The pool wasnât heated and the water was ice cold. Did we ask if it was heated before booking? No. But since the pool was the feature in the âheroâ shot used to advertise the place we made an assumption that it would have been a heated pool. The 2nd item to remark about would be that the other guests struggled with being able to sleep because the Queen mattress was too firm. Like really too firm. A thicker mattress pad would have helped. The King mattress was also firm but easier to get used to for us. I hope these comments help everyone. Over all it was a pleasant stay.
