The staff is extremely friendly and the place it’s very clean. The rooms are very convenient and even though they don’t have an elevator to the second floor it’s still very easy to get to your room. The hotel has an open atrium style look to it that makes it kind of unique to some looked to it. We will definitely stay again the next time we go.

Stayed at The Place during Sandcastle Festival. Great location to catch the shuttle to the beach where the castles were being built. Only negative was the lousy breakfast. For $250 per night I expect something hot other than the coffee. The coffee was pretty bad, too.

For the Port A Sandfest, best Place to stay as the shuttles to the Sandfest leave from the public parking at the Marina across the street. Excellent location to all areas of the island.

Shawna is amazing. All of our requests were honored. Clean! Fins restaurant across the street. The rooms are huge. We took our ebikes. Plenty of room for those, ask for 1st floor room tho, NO ELEVATOR. Minimal breakfast. WOULD STAY AGAIN!

Staff was very friendly and helpful. There is limited parking and construction so workers are parked there as well. The back door to the hotel did not work with key access which was close to the room. After construction I am sure everything in the hotel will be better.
