Great Soot for a Quick Weekend Getaway

Property was clean and comfortable. Location was away from city center, but close enough for a quick trip to groceries or dinner on the golf cart. Having the golf cart was a great bonus that saved us not only money but time as well. Roof top area was nice to sit and watch the waves in the distance. We will definitely look to book again in the future.

Awesome Beach House!

The house is very clean and spacious. The kitchen has all items needed for week stay. Having the golf cart &beach chairs was a huge bonus! We had a small issue with the elevator on day one but it was addressed right away. Michelle (host) very tentative!

Beach weekend

This is a great property for our group of 6 adults and 4 kids. There is plenty of space and it is a well appointed with everything you need to enjoy your time at the he beach. The elevator is a real necessity for the 3 living levels with the kitchen on the third floor. The rooftop deck is amazing to enjoy sunrise and sunset. We would definitely stay here again.

Great place and location. Communication lacking

Overall Our stay was good. The property was great and as described. We had an issue with the lock the first day. Tried to contact the owner who was apparently at a wedding in the boonies where the service was sketchy. We were locked out and couldn’t get ahold of her. Thankfully our 14 yr old son was able to scale the pergola in the back and go in the second floor sliding door we had, also thankfully, left unlocked. Had he not been able to do that we would’ve been stranded outside for over 2 hours late at night. This is of course a rare thing to happen but the owner should have a second emergency contact in the event they are inaccessible for a few hours. There also should be instructions for the elevator inside the elevator itself. The only instructions were in a picture frame on a table in the kitchen area and not super obvious.

Great Beach house

Beautiful beach house in such a convenient location. Elevator is a huge plus to move around on all 3 floors. Great kitchen with all supplies you’ll need. Loved all the balcony. Pool was nice. Great house for a big family/friend trip.

We loved this house for our family beach trip!

There were 8 of us - 6 adults and 2 kids. We found the common areas really beautiful and spacious, and particularly enjoyed the private pool and convenient location to the beach. We also appreciated that it was in a more private gated area. We did notice it was a bit sandy when we arrived in some of the bedrooms, and the kids room was a little cramped for two almost 6 year olds. We also would have appreciated more thoughtful amenities - We were given precisely 5 trash bags, dishwasher pods, rolls of toilet paper… So we had to go to the store a lot more than usual for things that are typically more generously provided at home stays. All that said though, we really enjoyed the house and would happily return with a little more things in stock!

My family had a fun time staying at Cloud 9. The house is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. Property Management answered back with general questions within a short amount of time. We would choose this property for future stays in Port Aransas.

Spacious Relaxing Visit

One of the top rentals I’ve stayed with through the years. Easy check in and the place would be fantastic for any warm day or night. Clean, relaxing , amenities you would want. Used it for a Family Christmas gathering to open presents, eat, and play games. Little too cold for the beautiful balcony gulf view. But well worth the stay would stay again.

AMAZING!!

Everytime we stay VRBO we’re suspicious about whether the experience will match the description and photos and let me tell you… this place far exceeds both! Great set up. Extremely clean and well maintained. Excellent views. Right at the beach. But why leave the house ever?! It’s got a great pool and it’s just the type of place where we didn’t want to leave!!! We’re definitely coming back in the spring and keeping this at the top of our list for weekend getaways. Michelle & Sabrina we’re quick to answer any questions I had and we’re so kind! The house is well stocked with any necessities you might need along with some of the comfiest beds I have ever slept in!! We enjoyed the shuffle board and playing boards games! We shared some of the best laughs and made memories I’ll cherish forever! Thank you for a great stay! It was immaculate, to say the least!

Family vacation 2022

We have a large family so had to get this house and another all to fit and it was perfect! Communication between the owner was great! She checked in on us and got us in early as we requested. My family and i enjoyed our stay!

Great location, pros and cons to the house

There were pros and cons at the rental. Pros: The house is in a gated neighborhood, great proximity to the beach, working elevator, nice decorations. Nice view from top outdoor floor. Less view from the third floor where the kitchen was. Kitchen stock and linens were great. Beds were really comfortable. Top floor couch is cozy. We stayed with 6 adults and 3 kids. Plenty of room for everyone. Nice size TVs. No crazy check out instructions. Reliable wifi. The shuffle board table and the fridge in the garage were cool. Garage had an excellent big ice machine. Neutral: no salt and pepper shakers. Host doesn’t arrange golf cart rental. Cons: There were a lot of roaches. All longer than 1 inch. Over the 3 night stay we counted over 10 of them not just a few, one even under someone’s bed pillow. I also found a scorpion crawling across my shirt after I just showered and got dressed when I was inside and got stung as I was trying to get it off me. The cleanliness at check in wasn’t great. The shower curtain in the apt downstairs has turned that reddish color that happens when it’s starting to mold. Also it’s overflow drain had a sizeable rust stain going down. Hair in the upstairs bathrooms. Funk smell in the lower level apartment overall. The air conditioner has a leak in the apt and it’s made a streak mark on the wall that isn’t appealing. And many hours a day there’s no shade at all by the pool despite the pergola. Bunk room is very snug. Bunk room extra lights hung were not plugged in and the cords didn’t reach the outlets. Outdoor shower didn’t work. Pool was very dirty and full of debris we couldn’t get rid of with the provided pool net.

Perfect getaway!

I can’t say a single negative thing about this property! The open floor plan was perfect for our family of 8 and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. It was also super cute with tasteful, beachy decor. I, unexpectedly, was in a walking boot with a broken ankle so the elevator was quite convenient! The host was always easy to reach for questions about the house or area. Definitely hated to leave!
