Quiet Retreat

Beautifully remodeled two-story rental with plenty of space for a family of four. Fishing dock on site as well as a large pool. The beach was a 2-minute drive. We had a great stay with no complaints.

Beautiful and convenient location

We have stayed in Port A several times but this is the first time at this location. We absolutely loved it and will be staying here on future trips. Kids loved the pool and fishing at the dock was convenient since we just walked down there. Everything is close by this location which I loved as well. Property was very clean and community area was clean. Check in and check out was very smooth. Our fridge wasn’t cooling the first day and the property manager immediately had it fixed. I do not have any complaints, I highly recommend this condo.

Creature in Condo

Rodent droppings were throughout the entire condo. In the bedroom on the nightstand, on the kitchen counters, on hand towels, in the corners of the living room and in the pantry. It was quite gross we left a day early. Location is great

I was notified after booking that the pool was closed. what i wasn't notified of was they were doing construction on the pool and i had limited or no access to parking and the had construction equipment parked in the way the whole time of my stay including a concrete pump truck that was extremely loud that had me blocked out most of the day Friday I even sent them a video.I contacted Port Aransas Escapes about the issue and didn't get a response at all till that evening when someone called about us using the grill on the grass at which time I responded that i would move it and asked why no one responded to my messages earlier that morning. I was told they were busy. I was very disappointed in the service and informed Port Aransas Escapes that I wouldn't be using their services again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Per the contract that is signed, check in states 4pm. I did not receive check in instructions until 4:30. The condo was not clean like they started. The floor was dirty, dirty pillows & one of the bed sheets didn’t look clean. There was hair on the toilet and in the drawers. The glass table had finger prints and spill spots on it. The dishes that were there for use, did not look clean. Besides the condo not being cleaned properly it was a very nice and quiet area.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a weird encounter with the maintenance man. He came in unannounced throughout our stay even at 11:30pm when we were asleep or our teenage kids were about to go toSleep.It definitely was weird and now I’m wondering if our unit even had open maintenance requests because we certainly didn’t put any in!Lastly, our sheets were never cleaned! We found blood stains on the master bedroom sheets! So disgusting 🤮
