The property was fantastic. It rained quite a bit while we were there, but we had tons to do inside. It is very well kept up and it was obvious that a lot of thought went into creating an enjoyable experience for the guests. We would gladly stay again in the future.

Family Birthday weekend

Beautiful home which was very comfortable and well appointed. Everything about Chad and Jennifer’s house was exceptional - the decor, to the game room to the well supplied kitchen and the comfortable bedrooms and beautiful bathrooms - a “10” all around. The location was perfect for our visit to enjoy Chambers reservoir and nearby State Parks. The dock was perfect for fishing and the views were amazing- despite the rainy weather during our stay. The outdoor gas grill was the best we have encountered at VRBOs - which we used each night to grill meals on the protected back porch. We look forward to coming back to this lovely home! Wildlife was abundant as well as the catfish!

Best VRBO experience!

Can’t say enough wonderful things about this amazing property as well as its host. From the layout to every little designer detail, the care and thought that went into the design of this remodel was meticulous. Speaking of meticulous, the property was very clean and Chad was kind enough to provide us with every little staple one might have forgotten to purchase and needed. The grill’s propane tank was low, but no worries as Chad had a spare full one right there. Chad was there for any communication we needed, but he had left a few directions/instructions in key areas that were so helpful that we really shouldn’t have needed to contact him. Only six of us stayed there, but we had a few family members stop by as we were there for a family wedding. How beautiful it was to sit on the back patio and enjoy the beautiful view. The experience really couldn’t have been any nicer and we are so grateful to Chad and Jennifer for sharing their home as well as all of their care to make sure we had an amazing experience! Thank you so very much! They could write a book on how to host a platinum experience! (BTW
. incredibly comfortable beds, amazing shower experience, prepping food in the kitchen was a dream, fire pit easy to light ( cardboard suggestion with provided wood worked perfectly) , game room fun, nice quality eye candy every place you looked!)

Spring Break Family Vacation

My husband and I have rented several homes over the course of 15 years and by far this has been the best property we have ever stayed at. From the moment you walk in, you instantly feel at home and it just gets even better as make your way through the home.The owners have truly thought of all the little details that helps make your stay comfortable. The game room is amazing and was used on our rainy days! We will definitely be back!

Great for active family

House was gorgeous and game room was phenomenal. Our kids are in their 30’s, granddaughter is 12 and we are active 60’s. This was perfect as we all played ping pong, billiards, compound bow target practice, fishing and because of the large driveway we had brought a portable pickleball net. Taught 2 more of our members to play. This was the best vaca. Don’t miss seeing Bender Ranch with its wildlife a mile up the road.

Simply wonderful

Despite the weather, we thoroughly enjoyed our time at this lake house. Special touches were appreciated. Beds were very comfortable. Enjoyed fishing at the dock and even caught fish. The game room was amazing and really enjoyed playing pool. Kitchen was organized, labeled, and had everything we needed (just bring your own seasoning). Thank you for a simply wonderful break from the city!

A wonderful home

Chad’s home was impeccably clean and well appointed, every room having quality furnishings and household appliances. I especially liked that each bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom. Our family enjoyed everything about the home!

Perfect lake house for families

Check in was easy and host readily available. Nicely laid out with huge game room with pool table, ping pong, foosball and arcade game, all in great shape. Very clean and well-appointed kitchen with outdoor grill too. The bedrooms were spacious, all were clean and large with wonderful showers. The King size mattresses were extra nice, slept comfortably, 2 bedrooms with gorgeous lake views. Loved the large sectional sofa, extra chairs and the open layout. Large TVs were well placed and enjoyed. Lots of room for large family. Very much loved our stay!

This lake house and property are beautiful. Top quality home and ALL furnishings. The game room is amazing. Also a good room for early birds to go too. Beds very comfortable. We enjoyed many hours by the firepit. A mostly fenced-in yard was perfect for the dogs. They loved the freedom to run and the access to the lake for swimming. Yard was well maintained and grassy, not just a lot of dirt like some. The swing was fun for the grandchild. Home is very clean. Pictures are accurate (although rooms actually feel larger than pictured). There is a lot of space and the layout is perfect. The host definitely cares about your experience and not just that you've rented the property. He reached out to let us know we could check in early if we wanted to as the property was ready for us. They have really thought of everything!! I 100% recommend this property and we will definitely return.

Perfect Lake Getaway!

Thank you Chad for sharing your beautiful lake house with us. The pictures don’t even do justice to just how beautiful and luxurious this property is. We found ourselves googling the pillows, silverware, all the things because we wanted them for our own houses! Our kids LOVED the game room, canoe and kayak and caught several fish off the dock. The check in/out process was so easy and Chad was very communicative. Overall, an amazing weekend with so many memories made at this beautiful property!

Relaxing!

My family and I had a great time at this lake house! Chad was extremely responsive to any questions we had. The house was very clean and well kept! Annual fishing trip

Seven to ten of us normally fish Richland chambers every year about this time of year and the house we previously stayed in for the last 11 years is no longer a rental. We found this home on line and it was every bit as nice and clean as what they described it to be. The owners thought of everything to make our stay comfortable and not needing anything and we plan on booking it for next year. Great place for a group like ours or two or three family’s. The beds were very comfortable, bathrooms spacious and well stocked as was the kitchen. Thank you Chad for providing a great home away from home.

Family Weekend at the Lake

We had a great time! Unfortunately it rained all weekend so we spent a lot of time in the very large game room. Plenty of games to entertain the kids. Chad was really easy to communicate with and we had no issues. The kitchen was very well stocked with quality dishes/utensils as suggested in the listing description which was nice. The beds were super comfortable also! We will be returning again for another stay for sure!
