The positives of this property were the cost and the indoor pool. There were limited dining experiences, the staff multiple times said they were out of things at the cafe. When my family and I did eat at the buffet they sat us at the entrance to the restrooms even though there were plenty of tables. The room was labeled “VIP”, which was exciting for my family and I but when we checked in we found out that we were in the ground level and all the cleaning carts were lined up right outside the elevator and along the hallway. Our rooms sliding door was unlocked upon arrival and then one of the drawers to the dresser was stuck. Nothing “VIP” about this room. It is located in the middle of Shiprock and Cortez. I’d say drive the extra 25 miles to Cortez for more options.

The staff was so nice. They even gave us a welcome gift. The location is just kind of remote for my taste. Oh, and they don't allow pot or beer in the property.

We absolutely loved this property. The people in all aspects of the hotel, casino and restaurant. We're all excellent, friendly, and always available to answer a question and just to say, hi, I can honestly say, I've never experienced such a wonderful property, where everything was exceptional. And it really started with the people, your employees! The grounds people who were trimming, they said, hi, people cleaning, they said hi. In the restaurant, the staff was so attentive. The front desk we happy and helpful. It was just a wonderful 2 night stay. We even won a little bit in the casino.

The room was very nice and quiet. The staff was very friendly. The smoking room is right off the lobby. The smoke is not contained at all. The lobby and gift shop were overwhelming. If you have any sensitivity to it you will find it a problem to breathe as I did. The wait staff in the restaurant was amazing. The guys preparing the food had absolutely no desire to help anyone or bother to ask if you wanted anything. They were more engaged in their conversation than any guests. Not a lot of options for the price. Food sat way too long and looked unappealing.

The room was extremely clean and inviting. The bed was comfortable, although the pillows were a little on the harder side. The shower did not have a lot of pressure so it was hard to rinse out your hair but everything else about the room was really nice. The staff was pleasant, especially the casino dealers and pit boss. We had an enjoyable time gambling.There are not a lot of food options other than a buffet and tiny snack area but for one night it was OK. We would most likely stay again when passing through.
