Perfect getaway for a family of women who appreciate Victorian style homes and vintage decor. This was an exciting surprise property for all of the guests. Great common spaces and perfect bedrooms and bathrooms. It was pretty amazing how quiet the home is given its age. Nice to be able to walk to restaurants and shops too.
This is a wonderful house and was perfect for our group of 8. There are several areas to gather and the large dining room table was the best! The kitchen was so well stocked! It was a wonderful experience.
Our family had a fabulous stay in this beautiful home. Had everything that you needed and so much more. Great location in Coupeville also close to Oak Harbor. Really a beautiful house just like in the pictures.
This property has so much character and charm, is well maintained and amazing location! We had multiple generations of our family staying together and had plenty of space to spread out and to share! Would love to stay again in the future!!
My adult siblings and I stay in short term rental properties multiple times a year, in locations all over Washington. We all agreed that this house was fabulous!Definitely THE most well equipped/stocked kitchen. Plus great beds, fluffy towels, small thoughtful touches in the baths, lots of room for being together, as well as areas for smaller groups to gather and talk quietly. Although we didn't spend anytime on the deck or in the yard (not quite warm enough), the looked quite inviting and I'm sure add to the charm of the home. The location gave us easy access to downtown, as well as walking the neighborhoods, and getting out to destinations away from town.We would recommend this place to friends, family and other travelers looking for a comfortable place for a large group to gather.
Overall, the property was clean, location was great for our family event, amenities as described. A few negatives; as mentioned in the remarks, the stairs leading to the upper level are steep. If you have elders or children, keep them on the first floor! We had a slip/fall that put one guest in the hospital! Also, shower floors are slippery. Property manager could be more responsive. These are the only reasons my review gets a 4 instead of 5.
Loved the beautifully decorated vintage rooms. Christmas tree was beautiful. Big table great for family games. Family gathered for our 50th Wedding Anniversary. Perfect location just 3 blocks to shops and restaurants. Everybody got their own room and was very happy!!
We had 3 families with children stay in this charming house between Christmas and New Years . The host had a nicely decorated Christmas tree in the living room to enhance the atmosphere, with another small one in the dinning area. The house has a feeling of history, but it also feels like a place that makes you feel comfortable. All the bathrooms are updated, all the bedrooms were roomy and very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed and the cabinets were labelled making it easy to find utensils or cookware. We loved being located within easy walking distance of downtown, the water, the library, and the park. Everyone felt it was a fantastic stay.
Everything was well stocked and cleaned. Great location to wander around! We enjoyed all kinds of different cups from the Butler's pantry.
The whole group could sit together at the dining table.
Depending on where you are sitting on the table, you might have a tight space to walk around someone to go back to the kitchen. There is no communal bathroom on the first floor. There are five bathrooms and you can always go back to your room to use your bathroom. It was actually nice to have your own bathroom with the bedroom where you're staying.
The kitchen was open to where folks would hang out.
We loved this well preserved historic property. Everyone had lots of fun walking around town and the fire pit was a nice way to relax. It was the perfect place for multiple families with kids who are old enough to need their own rooms. Thank you!
We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. Everything was great from booking to check-in to check-out. The home is absolutely gorgeous. We appreciate historical homes and this was everything it was listed as. We were within walking distance to dining, shopping, and the waterfront. We will be back.
After three years holding our annual family gathering at Camp Casey, we determined the need to find a different location in Coupeville. We needed to accommodate 25 + friends and family for meals, and sleeping accommodations for up to 12. Kineth House fit the bill beautifully, and within our budget.
Proximity in downtown Coupeville facilitated easy access for friends and family staying at the Coupeville Inn to walk to the Kineth House for our potluck gatherings.
The bedrooms are amazing. The house reflects the character of the early 1900âs while also providing modern conveniences. Preparing our family meals in the very well equipped kitchen was easily accomplished.
Our family includes our two wheelchair bound daughters, as well as a family member with Parkinsonâs. While the house doesnât claim to be âaccessibleâ, we were able to get our daughters settled comfortably on the main level. The master bedroom on the ground level proved ideal for safely accommodating my mobility limited brother in law.
As another bonus, the lovely exterior setting combined with some great luck with the weather, afforded us an opportunity to take some great senior pictures of our older disabled daughter.
Very pleased with our experience!
Our ladies group loves this house. It was our second time staying and we already booked it again for the spring. It has everything we needed and a great location. We had fun checking out all the great little shops.
Came for a workshop at PNW school of the Arts. House was so convenient, easy walking distance. Found lots of good places to do take out food after a strenuous day of felting
Wonderful home with 6 large bedrooms, 4 of which had dedicated bathrooms, and the other 2 bedrooms with an adjacent bathroom. The kitchen was large and with exceptional selection of spices and condiments. The bottle of wine and the candy were welcoming. Location and walkabikity was wonderful. Thank you. .you.sgreat home
Other than a couple minor suggestions to improve guest experience, we had a wonderful time in an extraordinary home. Coupeville is a sweet town with friendly residents
Everything stated about this beautiful Victorian house was true. We had a fantastic stay here. We were especially impressed with how well the kitchen was stocked! We would definitely recommend staying here.
A group of 11 stayed in the Historic Coupeville Victorian for my niece's wedding in July. We could not have been happier. The location was perfect. The house was beautiful both inside and out. The kitchen was well stocked (the best chef's knife I ever had in a vacation rental) The various common areas made relaxing with a big group very comfortable. And with all the bathrooms it was easy for our family to be ready for all the wedding events. Scott responded quickly whenever I communicated with him. I highly recommend this property
This was the perfect house for our family! It had lots of room for everyone and yet lots of good spaces to be together. The kitchen had everything we needed which is good for us - we like to cook together. The backyard and BBQ were great. How wonderful to be able to walk into Coupeville. The house had character and charm. It was outfitted with everything we wanted. The joke of the week - how could we have a butler's pantry and not have a butler.
We enjoyed our stay very much. The house is beautifully decorated. The kitchen was well appointed, it had everything we needed and more. The bedrooms were very comfortable and there was plenty of space for people to gather and spaces to spread out.
