Asseyez-vous et profitez de la riviĂšre Jackson juste devant la porte, le bruit de l’eau qui coule sur les pierres vous endormant et la truite n’attendant que d'ĂȘtre attrapĂ© sur cette section privĂ©e et approvisionnĂ©e du Jackson situĂ©e Ă  seulement 15 km au nord de Warm Springs, prĂšs de Zone de loisirs Poor Farm Road.


Ce chalet riverain nouvellement construit est l'escapade idĂ©ale pour un maximum de 6 personnes. Le rez-de-chaussĂ©e comprend une magnifique salle donnant sur la riviĂšre avec une cheminĂ©e Ă  bois en pierre sur deux Ă©tages. La salle Ă  manger donne sur la ferme et les vaches de pĂąturage occasionnelles, tandis que la cuisine et le garde-manger sont bien Ă©quipĂ©s et stockĂ©s pour la crĂ©ation de repas maison ou de repas de fĂȘte! Le porche couvert enveloppant sera un lieu de prĂ©dilection pour dĂźner ou lire un livre, surplombant l’eau et la vallĂ©e de la riviĂšre Jackson.


La chambre principale, avec lit queen, est situĂ©e Ă  l'Ă©tage principal avec sa propre salle de bain complĂšte et sa terrasse privĂ©e. La vue est bucolique, tandis que le son de la riviĂšre est toujours juste devant la porte. À l'Ă©tage, il y a deux chambres d'hĂŽtes - une avec un lit queen et une avec deux lits jumeaux - et elles partagent une salle de bain complĂšte de style "Jack & Jill".

Great getaway

The setting and scenery are amazing. We happened to be there during peak fall foliage. The house was super clean and well stocked with all kitchen necessities. Satellite tv was great. Wifi and wifi calling good.

Jackson River Property

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful riverside property! The views were spectacular and we were able to go fly fishing and birdwatching right outside the front door. We found it odd that the entrance was through the cow pasture (past two gates that needed to be closed each time) rather than the more direct driveway from the main road. Overall, we loved the location and would definitely return to the area in the future.

Restful Retreat

The Gillette’s Run cottage is a wonderful, restful retreat! Lots of wildlife to experience along the Jackson River. We caught several fish and saw heron as well as fox in the pasture and along the river. The house was clean and well equipped inside and out. I highly recommend!

Perfect farm stay!

This home is so beautiful! The pictures don't do it justice. Very, very clean & nicely updated. It was a little odd to have to bring our own bedding (comforters, blankets) but I get it. The most amazing part was the proximity to the livestock! What a treat to watch horses, cows & babies romping around the barn & fields from the living room! The fence is so close to the home, you get a front row seat to all the activity! We stayed here for the Maple festival in Monterey. The home was nicely situated about 25 min from Monterey & 10 min to Warm Springs. Beautiful location & lovely time had by all! Everyone is eager to come back when the weather is warmer!

Wonderful River Retreat

A relaxing and peaceful time with friends. The cottage was spotless and beautiful. Very comfortable beds and the house is well equipped with everything you need. We absolutely loved staying here.

New and restful

We spent 3 days at this beautiful cabin. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The setting was beautiful! We enjoyed walking on the land and visiting with the farm animals. My husband cooked on the grill . . . we ate "in" two nights. The kitchen was easy to work in. Also the beds are very comfortable. We brought pillows but didn't need to as they were provided.

Beautiful setting and great house

Everything was amazing - the perfect house for a weekend getaway even though the weather was a little frigid for outdoor exploring. A lovely cottage in a beautiful setting and the real estate firm was so easy to work with. We hope to return!

Amazing

It was even better than I hoped. It is beautiful inside and out. The house finishings are quality. Even the pots and pans are the kind you would want in your own kitchen instead of the typical garage sale selection you get at many places. We had Thanksgiving dinner and there was even a gravy boat! The beds were comfortable and cozy. We all loved watching the animals outside the expansive windows. There is a peaceful view from every room. We didn't get cell service, but the WiFi was strong. We all enjoyed family time around the fireplace when we weren't out exploring in the area. This time of year is between summer kayaking and winter skiing, but we still enjoyed a horseback ride (Appalachian Horse Adventures - Let's Ride Horses was fantastic for even our youngest rider.) And hiking at Dan Ingalls Overlook and the nearby Poor Farm river trail. As other reviewers noted, the host management company is super organized, responded to all my questions quickly and was very helpful. You do have to pick up and drop off an actual key in town for the property which I've never had to do before, but they make it contactless and easy. We are already planning how we can get back in the warmer season to enjoy the rocking chairs on the porch, yard games, kayaking and outdoor firepit.

Perfection!

Awesome amazing incredible. House is perfection and just know if I go missing this is where you will find me. We were 3 couples 55+ looking for a relaxing weekend and we found it. Fire pit, wrap around porch, river front, quiet, secluded, 10 minutes from Warm Springs, comfy living space with a fire place, top of the line kitchen with a pantry filled with beautiful seving dishes, supplies and w/d. Cannot wait to come back.

AMAZING!!!

Seriously didn’t want to leave. Wish this property was my own. Great location, tons of outdoor space, and had everything you needed to cook meals. I enjoyed waking up early to see the cows in the field, listening to the river, and having a cup of coffee. This place was super clean and neat. We plan to book this place every year.

Incredible stay and sensational service

We loved our stay at Gillets Run Cottage. The house had sheets, blankets, lovely fluffy towels, soap, clean sponges, trash bags etc. that made packing for a stay easier. The property manager, Beth, is the best I have ever experienced... helpful, kind, incredibly responsive. She helped us find the best lake swimming, playgrounds, food, ice cream, etc. Highly recommend a visit here. We will certainly be back.

Great snowy getaway

Thanksgiving Break

An Idyllic Spot

My wife and I spent 3 nights at this property and loved it. As other guests have mentioned, the photos don’t do it justice. Very clean, new, and well appointed. The management company is very quick to respond to questions and is very friendly. We look forward to coming back.

Peaceful and Perfect!

The house was super clean and modern, with all the amenities you would need. Beds were very comfortable, though I was glad we had brought some extra blankets for the cooler nights. The kids enjoyed watching Netflix and playing the board games when it rained, but we also loved sitting on the wrap around porch and listening to the river sounds. There were tons of birds and butterflies on the gorgeous wildflowers, and the cows and horses made for good neighbors. Catch and release fishing in the river was fun and relaxing too. Very peaceful/tranquil location! The small gas grill and firepit completed the experience. You may want to bring a Hotspot if you're planning to do online classes or meetings, but the Wifi was fine for general internet browsing. The rental manager Beth was wonderful with her communications and was very accomodating.

Fishing and Relaxing

We stayed here for 3 nights and fished for 3 days in the river just outside the cottage. The fishing was great, the porch over looking the river was perfect for meals. The house has a great deal of space and was perfect for our family.

Unbelievable Getaway

The pictures do not do this house/property justice. Everything was absolutely perfect for our family (2 adults and 3 children ages 4-9) and we will definitely be coming back. The house is very secluded and proximity to the river and 2 swimming holes within walking distance was perfect. Management company promptly dealt with a wasp issue and the owner Ryan provided additional insight and history of the land. Amazing time!

Peaceful and relaxing

The pictures don't do it justice. The peaceful environment and well-appointed space were incredibly relaxing. The sounds of the river, the wildlife, and the amazing views of the pasture and hills were just what we needed to get away from it all. Wonderful spot for a long weekend!

Beautiful setting and property

Took my family to this beautiful riverside property to escape the heat and man what a great vacation it was! The house was almost brand new! The facilities were immaculate with high end appliances and cooking utensils. The owners even put out a brand new propane grill for us. The property was beautiful with horses and cows roaming around and an awesome wrap around porch to enjoy the cool breezes. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful relaxing vacation.
