We very much enjoyed our stay again at The Dragon. Lovely location in centre of Crickhowell. Staff were very friendly and helpful and excellent customer service despite being very busy. Food was excellent.Very clean room. The only challenge was driving our car through the very narrow entrance to the car park but appreciate that the building is very old and no cars back then!

We had a wonderful time at the Dragon Inn Crickhowell. all staff were excellent and helpful. Food is fantastic and tasty. We are regulars and love the area and the Dragon Inn. Beer is good also. It is so close to lots of walk, mountain or canal. Nice shops in the town. All good. Mike and Maura
We stayed 2 nights, family of four. We had the family room. Very comfortable, hot bath/shower. Kettle in room. Great food and service. Family run pub, Leigh and her staff were very welcoming and let our friends breakfast with us staying elsewhere. Great place for kids as they have a pool table and games out the back. Food and drink was delicious and they have a kids menu. Very pretty village near the river with a few shops and coffee places. We visited the Big pit that was fantastic well worth going to, a brilliant rainy day option. We also walked up Sugar Loaf and went horse riding. Would love to return.
Lovely hotel in the heart of Crickhowell with its lovely scenery and plenty of pubs and eateries. Rooms were of a reasonable size and very clean and comfortable. We had a lovely rainfall shower and a lovely comfortable bed. The staff were very polite and helpful. Very reasonably priced.
Lovely old hotel in a beautiful town. Our room was a good size - very clean. Breakfast was oustanding.
On our last night there was a "false" fire alarm (better than a real fire).
Next morning there was no hot water. Manager said it would be hot in 20 minutes. An hour later still no hot water and no apology. Disappointing way to end our stay
The room was excellent for three adult family group, plenty of room, privacy and comfort. Breakfast was lovely with fresh cooked choices as well as self serve cereals and juices. Will definitely be staying again
Crickhowell is stunningly beautiful. We stayed here due to its proximity to Hay-on-Wye, but will be back purely for Crickhowell. The Dragon was wonderful, especially the comfy beds and breakfast. Only reason for 4* not 5, is due to the thin walls and an inconsiderate guest who was f-ing and blinding loudly at 11pm on Saturday. Obvi
Best part of my stay was the staff- they were very friendly and always happy to help. I felt very welcome during my entire stay. The breakfast was really good, the room was comfortable and clean with all the necessities. Would love to come back!
Super comfortable room (loved the deep bath), great that they had multiple EV charging points in the car park. Pub/ dinning room downstairs was fine and staff very friendly. Warning: gateway into the carpark is VERY narrow
