I tried to add on an additional nightâs parking over the phone prior to my stay but was told no as I hadnât booked directly. This is the first time I have felt like a second tier guest for booking with hotels.com. This meant I had to park in the separate airport car park for two nights which added stress to our hotel stay when the purpose of the stay was to make our journey stress free.
Unhelpful treated like 2nd class citizen because i had not booked direct. I contacted this airport hotel and asked that i be allowed to leave my car in the carpark between after I left the hotel at 0430 in the morning until 2330 this evening was told no because i hadnt booked directly. They suggested i cancel my booking and rebook through them. I offered to pay they said that would not be possible. I therefore booked into the adjacent airport car park at extra cost. This showed the hotel was totally inflexible. I arrived at the hotel at 0015 on and whilst booking in to add insult to injury the staff member checking me in informed me thatbhe knew i had eequested parking and been refused and he emphasised that i had to remove my car when i checked out. I really didnt need reminded never mind emphasised. I left the hotel at 0430. Really dissapointed with staff attitude and the way i was treated as a 3rd party booking.
