We were looking for a pet-free hotel, as those usually have less odor in the rooms. The description of this Holiday Inn Express did not mention that it is pet-friendly, but apparently, for $30 you can bring your four-legged family member. I have nothing against pets or their owners, but I prefer staying in hotels that do not allow animals, so this should really be clearly stated in the hotel’s description to help travelers like us make an informed choice. We had to swap rooms twice before finding one that didn’t smell like urine or have a musty odor. The final room we settled on still had issues — the toilet seat was not properly cleaned. We ended up cleaning it ourselves since the housekeeping staff, though polite, didn’t actually fix the issue when asked. On the positive side, the amenities appear new, the bathroom is in good condition, and the towels and sheets were clean with no unpleasant odors from the pillows. Overall, this hotel has potential, but it really needs to: Clearly disclose its pet-friendly policy Improve room cleanliness and inspection standards. We typically stay staying in Holiday Inn because it usually keep itself to a higher standards. This location we are not coming back

Check in was kind of strange- I was standing like 10 min till check in person (EJ) finished phone conversation with someone resolving some billing issue . No “ be right with you “, no “ sorry about that “ just ignore someone standing in front . After he was done he did apologised but still the whole situation was strange . Breakfast is average…area around hotel is clean and parking is convenient and free .

Lovely place

We try to get up to this area yearly to relax and do some fishing. Loved our room, but the room needed more pictures on the wall or even better, more hooks to hang things up on. Be great to hang damp clothes and bathing suits on a hook. Room had two hooks by ice bucket, but more would be fantastic. There was a huge,blank wall between the ice bucket ledge and tv console. Seeing how room only had two drawers, hooks would be great.
