The staff were so nice and accommodating! Location is fabulous just steps from the beach! Rooms were a bit outdated and the rooftop bar had no service too had to call down to get someone to go up there

The room was comfortable and breakfast was well prepared. The beach and restaurants are walkable from the hotel. Front desk staff was friendly and arranged local tours. Cleaning staff was good and dependable. In the bar, Mateo, Sarah and Danish made excellent margaritas!

To start with. Car was booked at arrival but no show. Checked in a room smaller than a shoe box with no windows . Ordered room service 845pm to be told kitchen closes at 9pm. Yet we asked for food q5 minutes before close off. Wanted to change money and they could not change more tha AUD 100 for the shockingly low price. Exchange rate offered was d1625/dollar lower. Requested for 1 extra hour for check out but were declined and room's electricity was switched off. Upon request they transferred us to a decent room for the rest of stay other than shocking first night. They did offer a complimentary departure transfer though. Very mixed feelings about this property. Obviously language is a barrier. Trying another proposal booked directly by us for further experience

Great location walking distance to beach and many eateries on same street. We were on 7th floor and it was still a bit noisy at night, so may be an issue on lower floors. Buffet breakfast was great with a good mix of both Vietnamese and western options. Swimming pool was a bit run down, it looked much nicer in the photos.

Excellent value for money

Excellent value for money, very clean, friendly staff and located in a short walk to the beach. The only downside for us was the breakfast as it wasn't as expected which meant we lived off egg, toast and watermelon. Overall i would recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again 😊

This hotel was very nice, just a 5 minute walk from the ocean. Kate at the front desk was very nice and helpful! The spa was great, don't miss the hot stone massage! Breakfast was wonderful. The bar made delicious drinks!

Staff is very friendly and housekeeping works diligently each day to turn over rooms. I stayed with my family of 22 people, all of us had great rooms and no yucky hidden surprises either. If the Do not disturb sign was up housekeeping would stop by at a later time to come turn over our rooms and keep up with toilet paper and towels. My family has worked for the hotel industry for years and we’ve seen the decline in service in most hotels, especially after covid. Sunny ocean hotel was lovely! A breath of fresh air, and to top it off they included breakfast and laundry service. Plenty of walkable late night restaurants and street vendors, and salons. Would stay here again and thank you so much team sunny ocean!
