Cozy two bed one bath mountain home perfect for all the to dos around Dahlonega. Check in and out process was simple and easy, and the house was great for my wife and I on a weekend getaway.
This was the cutest house to stay in while visiting Dahlonega! It was secluded enough to give you that mountain feel but so close to everything we needed! 10/10 recommend!
Super clean and super comfortable! Really loved the back porch - rocking chairs and quiet except for listening to the birds! Very easy check in and out and host is very responsive! Great location too!
The property was perfect for a couple to stay at. Right down the road is Accent Cellars, the perfect way to start a wine country tour. Staying there, you are in the woods listening to the birds for morning coffee, and close enough to all sorts of trails to hike after breakfast.
The cabin was clean, comfortable, and really done up nice! Carl was great and always responded quickly (though I didnât really have to reach out because all info was provided before hand and all necessities were provided!)
Enjoyed our stay in this quaint little cottage in the woods. Very Clean, fun little Sasquatch in the woods ( got a fun scare from this ..lol) and great location. Totally recommend for a cozy long weekend with your girls!
We enjoyed our stay, very clean and was conveniently located for the things we had planned. Screened porch was a plus, we watched whitetail deer meander through the grounds. We will add to our list for a return in the fall.
The home was just as described! Very convenient to downtown Dahlonega. Only issue was the house was 39 degrees inside when we arrived; the thermostat was off. house warmed up while we went to dinner.
If you love trees like I do you will love this place. When you sit on the back porch you feel like you are right in with the trees because you are! Really beautiful. Cabin is clean and nice too. It is very close to the downtown square which is nice.
This house was the perfect getaway! I loved the screened in porch with the woodsy and very quiet setting. The house was very clean and had everything you needed.
Also, the house is very close to the cute town Dahlonega.
This was a perfect vacation, just what I needed.
Thank you so much!!
The host was easy to connect with. The property was a getaway all by itself. The kitchen was stocked with everything to make full on meals for my family. The host even provided a small Christmas tree and Christmas decor. I am super thankful for that as it is our first Christmas away from all our family since moving to Georgia. It meant a lot to us. Everything from Helen, Georgia to Amicalola State Park and Dahlonega Square is so close by. It was nice little getaway. It is also pet friendly of which my pet was a little too rambunctious and ended up messing up the blinds in one of the rooms when my family and I was out. For that, I am so sorry to whom ever gets the cabin after us. But over all itâs a very delightful place to stay and centrally located to so many family friendly things to do. Thank you Carl!!!
Nicely renovated cottage within 10 minutes of the square. Very convenient to Accent Cellars, Foothill Grill, Hamilton Meat Market, and Hickory Prime BBQ. The owner was very responsive and thoughtfully provided a few snacks and coffee. We would enjoy returning to fully utilize the wonderful screen porch and decks.
My husband and I just spent 8 of the most relaxing days in this delightful cottage. Our every need was thoughtfully taken care of. We were so impressed with the cleanliness of the cottage as well as its location. We had all the privacy we desired but were only a few minutes from Dahlonega. We loved the screened in porch and spent many relaxing hours there. This was truly a delightful experience. Judy and Ray
Couple of days rest and relax without a long drive.
We loved the porch that looks out over the woods. It rained a lot on Sunday, so we spent a lot of time reading and napping on the porch. Dahlonega is only a short drive and has many good places to eat. The house was very clean, but a little cool when we arrived. We appreciated the circular driveway, made it easy to come and go from the house. We do not cook on short trips like this, but kitchen was well stocked. There were snacks and coffee provided for the Keurig coffee maker. Definitely recommend this property.
Nice little two-bedroom cabin that's far enough away from others to feel private but not so far that you feel in the middle of nowhere. It's like you're in a secluded woodland area, but you can see other houses in the distance, and it's just a couple tenths of a mile from a major road. Perfect. Close to anywhere you want to go in the Dahlonega area. Great communication with Carl, who handled my wife's allergy very well. Clean and had all the amenities we needed. Zero complaints. We plan to visit again, so don't read this review and book any dates we want. :)
To Summerize our over all stay the location is not us. If you come for Dahlonega it would be great. Close to everything, and far enough away to have privacy. The house is an older house and needs some upgrades. Nothing that compromised our stay but its not 5 stars by no means. Settling in the home has the floors soft in spots and ceilings cracked. Back porch coukd use some attention also. Could use a good deep cleaning also. The amenities were great. We grilled outside and enjoyed the home with our stay. Them yapping little dogs next door were a little much, but no fault of the house. The one bath with 3 people was a little tough also but here again, no fault of the home. Actually taught us about what we need to do. I pretty much laid out how I felt and if yiur expetations dont excede this issues, I highly recommend it. The host, booking, and directions were just fine. Hope this helps...peace
This property was in a very private and wooded area of Dahlonega. Close to downtown, wineries, and an hour away from Blue Ridge. There were a few things that could use updated and a good cleaning, but all in all we enjoyed our stay!
