Peaceful relaxation in the heart of the Gotland countryside

Our cabin in the country just outside the village of Dalhem was a real star find. You can tell straightaway this is a much loved family country cottage, which feels homely and comfortable and has pretty much everything you need. Although we were only two, there’s easily space enough for a small family or two couples sharing. The house is well maintained and well presented, furnished and decorated. You are right out in the countryside here – and although there’s some houses and farms nearby it’s very quiet, with space all around you and views across the gently rolling Gotland countryside. A great veranda too for summer evening sitting out or barbeques, and for watching the stars and night sky. Time really does seem to go slower here! Easy to get to Visby and shops – but you’ll need a car. In fact the whole island is easy to explore from here – the cottage is ideally situated for this. Great countryside, roads and footpaths for cycling and walking too. This was our first time in Gotland but we’d definitely think of coming back. Bjorn and Malin have made a beautiful cosy and welcoming holiday cottage here, and their communications and directions before we arrived made the whole thing very straightforward, thank you Bjorn and Malin.

Schönes Haus in ruhiger Umgebung. Der Beschrieb des Objekts verschweigt, dass sich das 2. Zimmer mit Doppelbett ausserhalb der Wohnung befindet. Um ins Bad zu gelangen, muss man über die Terrasse durch die Hintertür auf von Wetter ungeschütztem Weg in die Wohnung. Das Zimmer wäre zwar sehr schön, aber eben unpraktisch. Das "Foutonbett" ist ein ausziehbares, leider sehr unbequemes Sofa.

Das Ferienhaus ist zentral in Gotland gelegen, so konnten wir die Insel erkunden. Persönlicher Empfang durch die Gastgeber. Einen Dank an Malin für ihre Hilfsbereitschaf! Das Haus war sauber, ruhige Gegend. Bequeme Betten, große Terrasse, abends stimmungsvoll beleuchtet. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und würden wiederkehren.

Sehr schönes Objekt um den Urlaub zu genießen.

Als wir das Häuschen betreten haben, haben wir uns gleich wohl gefühlt. Es war alles sauber, die Einrichtung vollständig und alles liebevoll gestaltet. Die Terrasse war ein Traum. Wir hatten schönes Wetter und konnten hier unseren Morgen starten. Auch für die Kinder gab es einiges, um keine Langeweile zu bekommen. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Wunderbar

Sehr schöne Wohnung, ausgestattet mit allem, was man braucht. Großer, schöner Garten, perfekt zum Entspannen nach einem erlebnisreichen Tag, und dazu ausgesprochen nette Gastgeber. Vorteilhaft ist auch die zentrale Lage, man kommt überall gut hin. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Trivsamt och lugnt läge med fin natur runtomkring! JÄTTETREVLIGT värdpar, de fanns nära och man vågade fråga dom om vad som helst. Stor gräsmatta som inbjuder till lek, passar både stora och små. Vi var 4 vuxna och ett barn på 1 år och 10 månader som bodde där under en vecka.

Erholsamer Aufenthalt

Das Haus ist geräumig mit toller geschützter Terrasse. Es macht Spaß, dort zu sitzen. Küche und Badezimmer sind zweckmäßig ausgestattet. Das Wohnzimmer ist großzügig, wurde wegen des sehr guten Wetters aber kaum von uns genutzt. Die Betten im Schlafzimmer sind sehr bequem und die Jalosien dort dunkelten sehr gut ab. Es fehlte ein Schrank zum Aufhängen von ein paar Sachen, die nicht im Koffer bleiben sollten. Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett, hilfsbereit und kommunikativ. Sie hatten einige gute Tipps für uns für Ausflüge jenseits der touristischen Trampelpfade parat. Die Unterhaltung mit ihnen (auf englisch) war sehr angenehm. Wir haben die Zeit in unserer Unterkunft genossen. Die zentrale Lage der Hauses auf der Insel erwies sich als sehr günstig für die Erkundung der verschiedenen Inselregionen. Ein Auto ist notwendig.

Optimale Lage um alle Punkte Gotlands gut zu erreichen

Gemütliches Ferienhaus in ruhiger Lage. wir haben die Zeit darin sehr genossen und viele schöne Ausflüge gemacht. Eine besondere Überraschung für uns war, dass das Essen gehen günstig war. Kruitmintegarden sollte jeder zum essen besuchen und auch das Museumscafe mit seinen 3 leckeren Tagesmenus.

Wunderbares Ferienhaus in zentraler Lage

Dieses Haus hatte alles, was wir brauchten: überdachte Terrasse und Kamin - Anfang September hätte das Wetter ja auch mies werden können. Das war zum Glück so gut wie nicht der Fall, trotzdem haben wir den Kamin an zwei kalten Abenden genossen. Gut war auch die zentrale Lage in der Mitte der Insel, von wo alle sehenswerten Ziele gut erreichbar waren. Die Ausstattung der Küche war mehr als vollständig! Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

A very nice location on a beautiful island

Herrlich entspannter Urlaub auf Gotland

Das Haus ist sehr ruhig gelegen und liegt zentral auf der Insel, sodass diese wunderbar erkundet werden kann. Nach Visby dauert es keine 20 Minuten. Zu einem der schönsten und kinderfreundlichsten Strände in der Nähe von Åminne dauert es keine 25 Minuten. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet und der Außenbereich hat sogar eine Hängematte. Der Erholung steht nichts im Wege. Vermieter und Nachbarn sind megafreundlich und selbst bei fehlenden Tüten für den Kompost reagieren die Vermieter schneller als der Schall. Sollten wir Gotland nochmals erkunden wollen, wissen wir, welchen Ausgangspunkt wir haben möchten. Kurzum: Das war klasse

Härlig vecka på Gotland

Vi trivdes utmärkt i denna stuga. Stugan var smakfullt inredd och hade en fin uteplats. Läget i Dalhem är perfekt; ca 20 min in till Visby och lagom långt till olika orter på ön. Stugan ligger ute på landet och det är väldigt lugnt och fridfullt, vilket passade oss perfekt. Vi kan varmt rekommendera denna bostad.

Urlaub von der ersten Minute an

Dank der neuen Fährverbindung mit Hansa Destinations von Rostock nach Visby war bereits die Hinfahrt der Beginn eines wunderschönen Urlaubes. Angekommen am Ferienhaus klappte es problemlos mit der Schlüsselübernahme und uns öffnete sich ein sehr schönes, sauberes und geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Ferienhaus. In der Küche gab es alles an Utensilien die wir brauchten. Der große Kühlschrank inkl. Tiefkühler bot uns die Möglichkeit großzügig die Einkäufe zu verstauen. Aufgrund des warmen Wetters benötigten wir keine Heizung oder den Kamin-Ofen inkl. Holz aber beides wäre im Haus ausreichend vorhanden. Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig was in Kombination mit den guten Betten dafür sorgte, dass wir sehr gut geschlafen haben. Für Personen die Gotland mit dem PKW erkunden wollen können wir die Region nur empfehlen, man liegt sehr zentral für Ausflüge zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten oder zu den Stränden. Auch ist Visby gut erreichbar. Das Fernsehprogramm wäre zwar nur auf Schwedisch gewesen aber da wir so fasziniert von der Landschaft waren haben wir uns lieber diese angeschaut.
