Average stay for the price on most aspects. 3 star average for “area around property”: 4 stars for convenience. Walking distance to exchange hall and easy access by car to everywhere else. 2 stars for safety. Dogs stay free but not very many safe spots to walk dogs. Must cross the street into pioneer park which isn’t well-lit at night. Parking also isn’t in a very secure lot. Also not factored into my star ratings—would NOT book on Expedia again. Paid 24 dollars extra a night for breakfast while booking on Expedia but the hotel only allowed voucher for 20 per room per night (although they did increase it to 25 dollars after spending the extra time speaking to staff about it). My breakfast purchase didn’t even show up on the hotel’s end until I asked about it.

Great place to stay if you are a pet parent

The staff was awesome. The room and elevators smelled like dogs. The carpeted floor was dirty with dust accumulating behind the stone pillar near the wall as well as the metal hvac pipping hanging from the cealing. Half of the metal pipe was loaded with dust closest to the window. The toilet was broke. It took 1 hour to refill with water after flushing. The GM needs to check the housekeeping cleaning process.

The pool is closed, had we known we wouldn’t have booked here. There is no ice machine. And if you need toilet paper in the middle of the night you have to wait for housekeeping the next morning. The room was nice and centrally located.

This place was a letdown. No complimentary breakfast, and they charge you to park every day. Cockroaches outside on the sidewalks—and even worse, we found one in our room. The shower leaked water all over the floor and into the hallway. The hallway reeked like a sewer. When we told the guy at the front desk about the roach, he just said, “Okay, I’ll let maintenance know,” like it was no big deal. This hotel is poorly managed and dirty. Honestly, not surprised—it fits right in with how run-down Dallas is. Super getto and disgusting filled with homeless people taking baths in water fountains sleeping everywhere.

Awesome hotel. Love the location close to AT&T park and downtown Dallas. Good place for a small skills conference. Friendly staff.

Overall it was great. I was charged around $20 extra after we checked out with no explanation. I spent $60 including a nice tip at the bar and was charged over $80. and there was a puke? stain on our mattress that was visible when we woke up.
